DESCRIPTION What is a PINHOLE Camera? This is a camera created from a small light proof box, without a lens but with a tiny aperture, a pinhole in one side. Light from a scene passes through the aperture and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box, which is known as the camera obscura effect. This camera takes you away from technology, raises your head away from your mobile screen and from the constant picture taking of every possible thing you see. This Pinhole camera will let you focus more on what you want to capture, to think about the subject and why you want to take a picture of this moment, place. We want to create this project because we want to share the knowledge in working with this type of camera, as a form of art and expressing yourself. We want to motivate youngsters to try a different kind of photography, to learn the basics of photography and to understand the freedom that taking photos with a different camera than the one on their mobile phones. On this project the participants will have the chance to create their own pinhole cameras and experience this different way of taking pictures by themselves! AIM of the project: Promote active volunteering, EVS and the Erasmus plus programme, empower youth in participating countries to actively participate in society and promote photography as a form of activism to change society for the better! COUNTRIES AND PARTICIPANTS: DENMARK (4+2) MACEDONIA (4+2) LITHUANIA (4+1) ESTONIA(4+1) SPAIN(4+1) SLOVAKIA(4+1)

PRACTICALITIES: The project will take place in Bitola, Macedonia and the participants will be accommodated at the HOTEL TEATAR (LINK: http://hotelteatar.com/) which is in the center of the city. Please make sure that each participant fill out the application form (https://goo.gl/forms/lkp6hffgxtytjvgb2) so we know the profile of participants and the dietary requirements of the participants.
