April Biography Gail Berger Gail Berger comes to us from the east coast; born and raised in Brooklyn before moving to New Jersey where she taught school after her own children were in middle school. She s been married to Norman for 46 years and they moved to Parker in April 2010 to be closer to Heather and Jim, and their animals, Walter the horse and Dakota, the human golden retriever. They bought their house in The Timbers which Heather and Jim had been looking at but couldn t decide on. David and Laurie live in NC with their spoiled grandchild, Josh. We wish they were closer but see them often. Gail graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Education and taught Computers to Kindergarten thru 6th grade for 25 years in South River, New Jersey. Within days of moving to Parker, she hit the ground running and found PNC, Mah jongg and Canasta. She says she felt truly at home, joined PNC and they love their new lives here. Norm belongs to 2 Radio Control Clubs and loves being able to fly his model planes year round. Gail would like more hours in the day for her pursuit of happiness in the west. She enjoys traveling, water aerobics, lunch with the girls, reading and sewing. She says she s met some wonderful people through PNC and this writer has watched Gail become completely involved in all our activities. She spearheaded the committee for our new Cook book, served on the Out and About committee this year and she s the nominee for Vice President for next year. Welcome Gail, from all of us. You re the epitome of what we think a newcomer is! 2
