GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE I m often asked by our Members how we spend our money and where do their Member dollars go. These two charts help explain. Total expenses were about $3.4 million dollars, a $200,000 increase from last year. 42% are in salaries and benefi ts, 24% in Programming, including our PBS dues, 19% in Engineering, 7% Production, 5% Administration, and 3% Marketing / Outreach / Education. The increase was primarily within Engineering. The Federal Government requires us to change the frequency of 15 of our 40 translators. Seven were replaced in FY 18. However, we are using this mandate to improve our over the air service to the state. Income was just over $3.7 million dollars. 46% from the State of Wyoming, 31% from Federal Funding, 13% from one time only PBS Royalty Payments. 5% from programming and production related grants and underwriting, 3% from individual Member contributions, and 2% from sources like contract production and tower rental. Where do your Member dollars go? The $242,000 in production and programming costs were offset by the $281,000 in Membership, underwriting, grants, and other income. Your support helped fund over 60 PROGRAM GUIDE STAFF Jennifer Amend Program Guide Editor Melissa Rucker Assistant Program Guide Editor WYOMINGPBS FOUNDATION STAFF Joanna Kail Executive Director Cole Acuna Administrative Assistant The WyomingPBS program guide is published monthly by WyomingPBS, 2660 Peck Ave., Riverton, WY 82501 and mailed to those who contribute $50 ($25 senior rate) or more annually to WyomingPBS.
