Conversations with the Farmer s Market Association will take place to assure that all parties benefit from this great downtown event. Heritage of Portage County will be sponsoring both day s entertainment and beverage sales. We have submitted our request for a Special Call B Beer Retail License with the Clerk. Fencing will be set-up around the tent area for beer sales. Our organizations will continue to provide the following to ensure the safety and success of this event: Fencing following the natural outline of the square to serve as the boundary for the event. Portable toilets will be provided and will be removed immediately following the event. The event will end at 8 pm on Saturday and 6pm on Sunday.

As always, we will work with the Police Department to ensure the safety of visitors to our downtown during this event. Sincerely, Cc: Sgt. Babl Jordan Eckendorf Association of Downtown Businesses

I am asking that our event be placed on the July 8, Public Protection Committee meeting agenda to allow us to discuss the run, answer questions, and hopefully receive approval to move forward with planning. I have discussed the event with Tony Babl from the Stevens Point Police Department. From our conversation Tony did not have any concerns but would like to be included in all conversations with the City. The 5K run is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm. It will begin and finish on Goerke track. We have designed a course with traffic, safety, and runner satisfaction in mind. A course map is enclosed for your review. Can you please let me know if you have any questions and also confirm that we ll be on the July 8, Public Protection Committee meeting agenda? Thank you, Scott Gralla Spud Bowl Committee 715.340.4479 Cc: Tony Babl, SPPD Tony Romano, UWSP Athletics
