LINE DANCE Line dancing has finished as of the end of February and will begin again in the fall. Thanks to all who joined in the fun. Sylvia Snary 480/319-6797 MESA POLICE UPDATE In one of the 55+ communities near Sossaman and Baseline, an Asian woman, described as 5 02, 105 lbs., age 35-45, has been approaching residents and asking to take photos of their military identification cards so that she could get a military discount. Her story changes. At this time we don t know her intentions and we have not had reports of financial exploitation as of this date. She was able to get photos from some individuals. Please be on the look out of a women approaching residents. Please call the Mesa Police Department. Also there is a trend of tailgates being stolen off of trucks in the Mesa area. There has been seven thefts involving 4 Ford and 3 Dodge tailgates in this area alone. Crime Prevention Officer, K. Stegenga 480/644-5014 SHUFFLE BOARD Keep playing your in-park games. Time is creeping closer to the in-park playoff day between the Red and Blue teams. The date has been changed to March 15th or 16th (weather day). Play will begin at 9:00am followed by snacks (cookies, cake, etc., the worlds best food group) and drinks. Oh yeah, PRIZES will be awarded! Questions?? Call Kent at 517/526-5797 or Stew at 480/319-6797. SAFETY FIRST - Think about it! A fire extinguisher should be keep near your kitchen in case of fire, but could you get to it in a time of need? Several years ago we purchased a second extinguisher and have it in our bedroom Most house fires happen at night and an extinguisher could be your only way out. Think about it! Several years ago there was a twister/micro burst that passed over the Valley from Buckeye to Fountain Hills. Warnings were broadcast over our local channels. If this were to happen In our neighborhood of mobile homes, my suggestion would be to seek shelter in our VRG/ CS Clubhouse. Think about it! Gordon Keller 6

GREEN BARREL REMINDER PLEASE - Return the green barrels at the end of each day. DO NOT keep them over night or for any extended time. Others also use the barrels too. Thanks for understanding. Wally Augustine 602/768-0616 ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS Always use your LOT number (VR000 or CS00) as your ACCOUNT number when submitting your HOA Fees. Names or Addresses will not work in the computer system and LOT numbers help the Treasurer complete her work more accurately. Donna Hull 480/985-7528 PARKING LOT There is NO OVERNIGHT PARKING in the clubhouse parking lot! If there is a car parked overnight, without a valid reason that the office is aware of, it may be towed at the owners expense. IF YOU USE IT, RETURN IT Please return any or all items as soon as you can. At the pool, return all pool toys when you are finished swimming. Return pool chairs and lounges to the original place. Green barrels should be returned at the end of each day. If you sign out items (Tables, chairs, etc) be sure to sign back in when the items are returned in a timely manner. Be responsible and help have items ready for the next person to use. Thanks. 8
