Community Leadership Council Events June 16 - Crenshaw Corridor Cleanup The CLC Community Engagement Workgroup hosted a Community Cleanup in the Crenshaw Bl/Florence Ave community Partners: Park Mesa Park Mesa Heights Community Council & Council District 8 30+ neighbors participated July 14 - Financial Awareness Investing in Total Health (FAITH) Expo The CLC Community Engagement Workgroup and Metro will host booth on Saturday, July 14 from 11am-3pm at West Angeles Church (hangar) Information about the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project will be provided, as well as Metro TAP Cards and details on other Metro programs including Eat Shop Play August 30 Metro Art Tour The CLC Special Projects Workgroup will host at artist-led tour on the Expo Line going toward Union Station on Thursday, August 30 from 10am-12pm. Union Station also has a new farmers market which starts this Thursday through the end of the summer, so participants will have the option of going back to the Crenshaw/LAX Project Office or explore the farmers market at Union Station for lunch at their leisure. 66
