Troop Carrier/Tactical Airlift Association 2014 Convention Information The 2014 Troop Carrier/Tactical Airlift Association Convention will be held on October 15-19, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona at the DoubleTree Suites Hotel by Hilton at the Tucson International Airport with additional events at the Pima Air & Space Museum and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Hotel Information The DoubleTree Suites Hotel has set up an Internet link for making room reservations on-line at http://doubletree.hilton.com/en/dt/groups/personalized/t/tustadt-tca-20141012/index.jhtml. Reservations can also be made by calling the hotel direct at (520) 225-0800 or 1-800-222-TREE. Tell the reservation agent that you are attending the TCTAA Convention and what date that you would like to check-in and check-out, type of Suite, King-Size Bed or (2) Double-Beds, or a Special Needs suite. These are all nicely furnished 2-room suites with many amenities at $95.00 per night which includes a Full Hot Breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant. The convention Special Room Rate arranged by your convention planners is also good for those wanting to arrive up to (3) days early, stay up to (3) days late or both and enjoy the many things to see and do in the Tucson metropolitan area which has many points of interest and world class museums to visit. The hotel has (2) beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyards with fountains and areas to enjoy visiting with old and new friends. The October weather in Tucson is normally dry with lots of sun and day time temperatures in mid 8o s and pleasant evening temperatures in the mid 50 s, perfect for all activities. Continue on Valencia Rd. West for 3-miles to S. Tucson Blvd., turn Left and proceed.
