Speaking at the Ministerial Conference of the 6th World Water Forum held during 2013, Mr Chen Lei, China s Minister of Water Resources said: Investment will be scaled up in the coming decade and a water financing mechanism with a public budget and revenue as a major channel shall be set up. The government is planning to invest USD 636 billion through to 2020 in various projects to harness water and prevent related disasters. The business has started and we want to intensify our activities here and are looking at the whole market. We are doing many fields with water treatment not only for residential treatment applications.
