The pontoon and boat parade had over 30 decorated vessels that added to the activities that took place on our wonderful lake during the weekend. Page 6 2012 Golf Outing Banner Lake Residents, Thanks to everyone who made our 4th Annual Golf Outing another successful event. We had beautiful weather and a lot of GREAT people come out and support our lake efforts. Lately I have had some residents call about speeding jet ski s & boat s around our local fisherman and pleasure boaters, please remember that Michigan law says that you must stay 100 from other vessels, if you feel you are being harassed by boats being to close or jet skis please make sure that you get the MC registration number off the side of the vessel and call the Jackson County Sheriffs department and register your complaint using the registration number. The Huron Lake Weed Harvesting Co. has finished and a TON of evasive weeds were removed from the lake, we still have some more work to do in the future to make sure that the floaters are skimmed from the shorelines but we feel that the progress made was incredible. If you would like to have your Frontage cleaned for next year please contact Huron Lakes for an estimate (734-878- 9960).
