Sunflower Mine (Continued) Two weeks prior, during a Sunflower Mine pre-run, this creek was flowing fast with at a depth of about 18 inches. Larry, brought a disabled friend out for his first Jeep run. Mike lead this year s Airpark Jeep Jam participants on the Sunflower Mine trail.

Airpark Jeep Sugar Loaf and Four Peaks Cleanup Sponsored by Copperstate 4- Wheelers Date: Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 Trip Leaders: Lori Moore Members in attendance: Mike Drawsky, Ann Johnson, Jeri & Harold Liberman, Keith Fleigel, Bob Williams, Jerry & Sandra Walker, Rob & Adeline Hayton and Glenn & Teri Luce Guests in attendance: Mic & Jamie Radford, Taylor Ulrich, Randy Wimenta and Max McKee 4-Peaks in the background Suzy and her Aunt, drove over to Airpark Jeep in Scottsdale, to join Rob and Adeline in today s annual Jeep Jam Party. Our morning started out with breakfast at Denny s in Fountain Hills. Joining me for breakfast was Mike Drawsky, Ann Johnson, Bob Williams, guests Jerry and Sandra Walker and former club members Mic and Jamie Radford.

Sugar Loaf and Four Peaks Cleanup (Continued) Jerry & Max It was a pleasure seeing past member s Mic & Jamie at today s cleanup. By the time we arrived at Section 20, Glenn, Teri and other volunteers had already worked it over pretty good. Glenn was already there when we arrived. Once breakfast was over, we set out for the staging area at Four Peaks. There we were met by Jeri and Harold Liberman and Rob and Adeline Hayton. We were assigned Section 20 for cleanup. Everyone headed that way and we found Glenn and Terri Luce already plugging away. Along with Glenn and Terri, other volunteers Taylor Ulrich, Randy Wimenta and Will Williams were helping clean this area. Sandra, hard at work! Most of the big stuff had already been picked up but we managed to fill the back of a truck belonging to one of the volunteers.

Sugar Loaf and Four Peaks Cleanup (Continued) For our cleanup at section #17, Jerry & Sandra donated their pickup to haul away the trash bags. Within an hour & half we had the full-size pickup fully loaded! Rob & Adeline brought homemade cookies that Suzy had made for everyone. Thank you Suzy, for the delicious homemade cookies! Once we finished this area, Rob contacted Mike to let him know that cleanup needed to be done on Section 17. Rob and Mike made the hike down off of the hill to pick up what was being used for targets, the remaining club members stayed up on level ground and picked up shells (lots of shells!!!!). Just before lunch we offloaded our second truck load of trash bags. Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the staging area. Everyone enjoyed lunch. From left to right: Jerry, Mike, Adeline and Max

Guests in attendance: Eric & Sheri Mass A raffle was held and Mike, Adeline, Mic & Jamie turned out to be lucky winners! We assembled at the Usery Pass Road staging area at 9:00am and pulled out on time at 9:30am. There was a total of 11 Jeeps with 18 occupants. Club members present were Glenn and Teresa Luce, Roy Rogers, Bon Williams, Rich Dalton, David and Paula Brown, Walter and Gert Leible, Dan and Deb Smith, Bob and Ann Nyberg, and Keith Fliegel, and Jeri and Harold Liberman (trip leaders). Eric Maass and Sheri were guests. After the drivers meeting, we proceeded down FR3554 to FR10 where at the end we took a group picture. Everyone agreed to add the extension FR1356 to the itinerary. The weather was perfect, there were no breakdowns or issues and everyone ended up at the Goldfield Restaurant. All in all, we had fun and it was for a good cause. Hope to see everyone out there next year! Lori Moore
