Artists are from the Central Coast and the leafy North Shore; the Eastern Suburbs and inner Sydney Harbour communities; south to St George and Sutherland Shire; west to the Nepean and Macquarie Towns; from the Blue Mountains and onto the Southern Highlands district of Bowral. 28 years is an amazing success story of which we are extremely proud especially as CASS (Combined Art Societies of Sydney Inc.) is a non-profit group run totally by volunteer lovers of art. The Art of Sydney exhibition also raises funds for CareFlight.

WINNER Section 4: Delaney Kelly Golding Award - $800 For Abstract Painting Colours of the Day by Susanna Chen Chow Ku Ring Gai Art Society Judge s comments: Nice pattern and colour harmony, also good paint texture that makes for an interesting surface quality. WINNER Section 6: Jaguar Removals Award - $300 for Miniature Painting Afternoon Visit by Madeleine Szymanski - Ku-Ring-Gai Art Society Judge s comments: Beautifully drawn and detailed, full of mystery for a very small painting.

The Inaugural CASS Honours Award. Each Cass Art Society has been asked to nominate one of their members; to honour, celebrate, call out for their work - be it artwork, volunteering or community support etc. Robyne Berling has been nominated as the Ku-ring-gai Art Society s choice for the inaugural CASS Honours Award and will have her beautiful oil painting Soldiers Beach..Central Coast displayed during this 28 th CASS Art of Sydney Exhibition, with the following citation: Soldiers Beach Central Coast by Robyne Berling The Committee of the Ku-ring-gai Art Society has much pleasure in nominating Robyne Berling as the Society s choice for the inaugural CASS Honours Award. Robyne is a highly regarded artist with many wins and accolades to her name. She works tirelessly in her capacity as Exhibition Manager, a role she has held for the past 8 years curating 3 Exhibitions each year for the Society.
