HKIMT Chairman s Report for Session 2015-16 (Seminars and Conferences) AMEC 2016 2 nd ISC meeting at the Jin Jiang Hotel in Shanghai on 30 November 2015 ie. on the day before opening of Marintec China 2015. All member societies of PAAMES participated this event with a big delegation from Hong Kong.

HKIMT Chairman s Report for Session 2015-16 (Promotion and Career Talks) Student career talk at the IVE s Tsing Yi Campus on 3 May 2015. Two experience sharing sessions plus one career path session were presented respectively by Ir K.K. Lo, Capt. Marso Law and Mr. Roger C.K. Lee.
HKIMT Chairman s Report for Session 2015-16 (Promotion and Career Talks) School visit to CCC Kei San Secondary School ( 中華基督教會基新中學 ) at Fanling on 6 July 2015. The purpose was to promote maritime career to the students. Presentations were given by Ir C.K. Mak and Ir K.S. Szeto.

This was presented by Prof. Timothy W. Wong.

Unfortunately, due to busy commitment, there was no representative from HKIMT attended this function. 5) The 6th China ASEAN Engineering Projects Cooperation and Development Forum at Guangxi from 18-20.9.2015. Attended by Vice-Chairman, Mr. M.C. Chan. 6) Seminar on Ship Design Optimization and Innovation in the Design Process presented by Mr. Jan K. Lang, organised by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers at the Mariners Club on 29.10.2015.

This was hosted by the Transport and Housing Bureau and Marine Department held on 4.3.2016 at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.
