Council of Heritage Motor Clubs Annual Rally 17-20 May 2019 Irrigation Wonderland Griffith NSW

Irrigation Wonderland Rally 17-20 May 2019 Griffith NSW Part of the Riverina Griffith Historic Motor Club Inc & MIAVV & C Car Club PO Box 2082 GRIFFITH NSW 2680 Hosting the CHMC Annual Rally 2019 The Riverina/Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) is a district with an abundance of food and wine destinations, inside an intricate irrigation system. Griffith has a blended tapestry of food, wine and cultural diversity. Griffith prides itself on our hard working ancestors for building an agricultural powerhouse through the innovation of irrigation over 100 years ago, and boasts a very diversified range of food and wine grown in the region. We have over 30 wineries processing our wine grapes and we grow cotton, rice, wheat, barley, citrus, numerous varieties of vegetables and almonds, walnuts, olives as well as raising livestock. Griffith is a part of one of the most productive regions in Australia and contributes over $5 billion annually to the national economy. We would love to see you for the May 2019 Rally with your exquisite vehicles Saturday 18th of May is the time to explore the district and experience its uniqueness by participating in a rally or two while Sunday 19th, the National Heritage Motoring Day, will be for display and judging in the morning and witnessing some pioneer agricultural machinery in action at Pioneer Park in the afternoon. Attached you will find your rally entry form, accommodation guide and a draft proposal of the Rally festivities (some of which will require early booking as numbers are limited).
