Caller believes its a road surface problem as water is sitting in patches and building up and the drain it flows to cant cope with it as water is flowing past all the other drains. There was an accident on OCtober 30th, not the first. The speed limit of 60mph is what creates the problem. 10 Page 10 of 18 Customer Services Enquiry No: Logged by: Jackie Ferguson on: 11/11/ :13 Desc.: I have an highways issue at one site which is not in haywards heath and falls under warninglid and WSCC Councillor Peter Griffins I believe. sits on a private shared drive way but the entrance to the site has a large pot hole in the road which cars use as a turning spot and HGV drive over as the road is very narrow and rural in appearance. They are aware they are responsible for the drive way and have paid for repairs over the years but they seem not to last and are in poor condition. Could some one from highways contact the manager of the home to see if anything can be done or advise of a contractor who could repair this to a suitable standard. I have no history of the site other than this conversation and said I would pass on the request and information. We frequently have people coming into our house having problems with their cars after driving through the floods on the road. These issues having been going on for years and I think it is time that something was done about the drainage on the road. Please could you tell me what your plans are to improve the situation.
