The two-story bridge is an iconic symbol of the bay and is especially beautiful during its nightly illumination. (However, sometimes the colour is just white). The bridge supports an expressway, a regular road, the Yurikamome light rail line and pedestrian walkways along both sides. There is a small platform near the replica of the Statue of Liberty where you can take a boat trip to Asakusa on the Hotaruna or Himiko Ferries. If you want to take the boat trip to Asakusa, please go ahead to get the tickets first, then go sightseeing in Odaiba.

2 Aqua City Odaiba/DECKS Tokyo Beach In front of the Odaiba Kaihin Koen Park, there are two big shopping malls. Recommended attractions: Odaiba Takoyaki Museum on the fourth floor of DECKS Tokyo Beach. Buy a small takoyaki (traditional Japanese snack filled with octopus) then step outside of the museum for a beautiful view of Tokyo Bay. If you want to buy Takoyaki you will need to buy a ticket from the vending machines and then pass your ticket the staff.

3 Having takoyakis with beer and seeing this beautiful sceneries. (This fireworks happen few times per year) Other attractions: Madame Tussauds / Tokyo Joypolis (Theme parks)

4 Restaurants: King of the Pirate at Aqua City Odaiba, 5 th floor. Gompachi at Aqua City Odaiba, 4 th floor - Yakitori, Soba Noodles and more Japanese food. Hours: 10:00 to 18:00 (some restaurants until 20:00, 22:00 on weekends) Closed: Mondays (or Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday). Fuji TV Headquarters The headquarters of Fuji Television, one of Japan's private, nationwide TV stations. You can see some exhibits on popular programs, buy Fuji TV goods at a shop and access the futuristic looking building's observatory deck housed in the sphere shaped part of the building. Admission: Free (observation deck: 550 yen)

5 There is a long stairway at the side of the building. It is free up until the main entrance. (You can take the long escalator located other side). Shops: 10:00 to 21:00 - Uniqlo, 7-11, many clothes shops and restaurants. Restaurants: 11:00 to 23:00 Closed: No closing days Divercity Tokyo Plaza This shopping, dining and entertainment complex opened in Its most unique attraction is the Gundam Front Tokyo with various attractions and a shop specializing in the anime series robots. A "life sized" Gundam statue stands in front of the building. Gundam is illuminated nightly, but no longer moved, just standing and keep looking down us.

6 On the ground floor, there is a big food centre. You can have cheap snacks, ramen, takoyaki, etc with locals. Additional restaurants can be found on the 6th floor. Venus Fort/Palette Town Venus Fort is a shopping mall in the style of an 18 th -century southern European town next to Toyota Exhibition Hall (Mega Web). The mall features over a hundred shops, fashion boutiques, cafes and restaurants on three floors including a few outlet shops on the upper floor. i/index_e.html Hours: 11:00 to 21:00 On the second floor, you will see this replica of La Bocca della Verita, or The Mouth of Truth, and Kiddy Land (Hello Kitty shop). 7 On the ground floor, there is an 100-yen shop called Seria where all items sell for 100-yen. You can buy many souvenirs and cheap Hello Kitty items here as well. Alternative, on the second floor, there is KIDDY LAND which has many official Hello Kitty Items. They are very good for souvenirs. Toyota Mega Web Hours: 11:00 to 21:00 (some attractions end 1-3 hours earlier) Complex with shopping and a showroom for Toyata cars where you can test drive some of the models with a valid international driver s license. Closed: Small number of irregular closing days Admission: Free (test rides: 300 yen) Ferris Wheel Hours: 10:00 to 22:00 (until 23:00 on most Fridays and Saturdays) Closed: No closing days Admission: 920 yen (entire cabin: 3080 yen) This 115 metre tall ferris wheel is a big icon in Odaiba, nice views of Tokyo Bay and Odaiba below. Each cabin seats six (or four in the all-glass cabins), and the complete revolution takes about 15 minutes ko/koto/spot/40657.html Open: 11:00am to 9:00am Oedo Onsen Monogatari Oedo Onsen is a hot spring theme park which reproduces the atmosphere of the Edo

8 (entry until 7:00am) Closed: Early closure at 23:00 once per month for cleaning Period. You can enjoy various types of indoor and outdoor baths which are fed by hot spring water. Restaurants, massage, games and other entertainment, as well as overnight stays are available. Tattoo might be not permitted. Admission: 2480 yen (1980 yen after 18:00). Additional 200 yen on weekends and holidays. Additional 2000 yen overnight fee after 2:00. Getting There Yurikamome Line. The main highlight of riding the Yurikamome Line from Shimbashi is the Rainbow Bridge. The train tracks run beside the freeway along the bridge, supported by a complex display of framework. It is exceptionally scenic with a view overlooking Tokyo s waterfront, accompanied by the quirky skyline of futuristic structures, iconic of Odaiba. You can also choose to walk across the bridge using the allocated pedestrian walkways for free opened at certain timings of the year to take in the scenery at your own pace. Alight at Aomi Station if you want to get to the Ferris Wheel, Zepp Tokyo, Palette Town and Venus Fort Factory Outlet. Alight at Telecom Center Station if you want to get to Oedo Onsen Monogatari. It is a 5-minute walk away. Alight at Daiba Station if you want to get to Zepp Tokyo Divercity, Divercity Tokyo Plaza, Gundam Front and Aquacity Shopping Mall.

9 Activities and interests: Boat rides There are many boat tours from Odaiba to Asakusa. Get the ticket first ( Find the ticket information in the park) then make sure the departure time and the place. Odaiba Seaside Park Pier - Boat pier: Daiba Boats to Hinode Pier via Harumi on the Odaiba Line. 20/15 minutes travel time. Once or twice an hour from 11:15am- 5:15pm or later. Boats to Asakusa via Toyosu on the Asakusa Odaiba Direct Line. Three times a day from 12:10-4:15pm. Tokyo-Bay Yukata Cruise - Event: Kaigan [Open 7-9pm daily.] It's a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous Tokyo summertime beer garden - a beer party on a boat. The boat is quite big, with a capacity of 1500 partygoers spread out over six decks, including an event stage and dance floor, private party...

10 Walk tour from Tokyo Tower to Odaiba (less than 10 kms) Rainbow Bridge ( レインボーブリッジ, Reinbo- Burijji) is a suspension bridge crossing northern Tokyo Bay between Shibaura Wharf and the Odaiba waterfront. You can walk from Roppongi to Odaiba if the weather is nice. Model Route; 1.Starts from Roppongi Station Tokyo Tower Zojoji Temple - Shibaura (take lift to the Rainbow Bridge) I think it would be pretty on a summer night. There are two route North or South (highly recommended South route), then get Odaiba Waterfront Please note about crossing the bridge; You cannot bike on the bridge. Must get off and walk your bikes (They attached a roller board on your bike) Open hour 1 st Apr to 31 st Oct 9:00am to 8:30pm 1 st Nov to 31 st Mar 10:00am to 5:30pm Closed every 3rd Monday of the month; if the day falls on a holiday, it will be closed the following day.

11 If you do not want to walk that far, you can take the Yurikamome Line from Shimbashi to Shibaurafuto Station which is only a short distance from the lift.
