2 DAY 1 Welcome to Japan- The Land of the Rising Sun. Your tour begins in Tokyo. Bon voyage! Welcome to Tokyo. On arrival at the Narita International Airport you will be greeted by the Thomas Cook Tour Manager/local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport, who will assist you to transfer to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight enjoy a delicious meal at your hotel / a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Narita Excel Tokyu or similar class or similar in Narita area, Tokyo DAY 2 Enjoy best views of the city from the Observatory deck of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Exciting city tour of Tokyo: Imperial Palace and Toyota Car Showroom. Enjoy Shopping. Today after a sumptuous American breakfast, enjoy a full day guided city tour of Tokyo. Start your tour visiting Sky Tree first observatory. An unique opportunity to view the city of Tokyo from a height of 350mts from the observation deck on top of Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world. Later visit the Asa Kusa District known for its renowned Sensoji temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple which was constructed in the 7th century. Well-established Japanese shops and famous brand name shops from around the world stand side by side on the district s main street including the Sony building. Tonight, enjoy sumptuous dinner at an Indian Restaurant. Overnight in Hotel Sunshine Prince or similar in Tokyo DAY 3 Cruise on Lake Ashi. Visit the Owakudani Boiling Valley. See the magnificent Mt. Fuji. Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Hakone where you will enjoy a cruise on the lake Ashi. Here you get a chance to enjoy the picturesque view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Then visit the Owakudani Boiling Valley. Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later proceed to one of the highlights of your tour a visit to Mt. Fuji. Visit the Mount Fuji 5 th station (Weather permitting) and the Fuji Visitor s center. Mt. 3 DAY 4 Visit Nara and Kyoto. Visit Nara Todaiji Temple with Deer Park. Visit Golden Pavilion, & enjoy Nishijin Kimono Show at Kyoto. Experience the Japanese Bullet train. Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day visit to Nara & Kyoto, Nara the first capital of Japan. Visit the Todai-ji temple, which houses the largest Buddha statue in Japan and the Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming Deers. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the Gods, Nara s nearly 1200 deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure. Enjoy Indian lunch. Next proceed to Kyoto, one of the most beautiful cities of Japan. Visit the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji Temple), which houses sacred relics of Buddha. The gardens of the Golden Pavilion are renowned for their exquisite beauty. Also enjoy Nishijin Kimono Show and enjoy demonstrations and a display of historical materials. Later travel by the hi-tech Japanese Bullet Train to reach Hiroshima. Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Grand Prince Hiroshima or similar in Hiroshima DAY 5 City tour of Hiroshima including visit to Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajima. This morning after an American breakfast, proceed to the Miyajima area to see the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine and the floating Torii one of Japan s most scenic spots. Enjoy Indian lunch. Then proceed for a guided city tour of Hiroshima, the city devastated by the atomic bomb in World War II. Visit the A-Bomb Dome, the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion. See the Peace Memorial Park with its Museum and number of monuments of peace including the Flame of Peace, Flocks of Doves and the Children s Memorial. The Cenotaph with its arched tomb is a tribute to those who died because of the bomb. Transfer to Kurashiki, on arrival enjoy a delightful Indian dinner at an Indian restaurant and then check into your hotel.. Overnight at Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel or similar in Kurashiki DAY 6 Kurashiki Tour followed by visit to Osaka. Today after an American breakfast, proceed for Kurashiki Tour. It is one of Japan's great old merchant towns. Situated along a scenic canal at the foot of Mt. Tsurugata. Then after transfer to Osaka, on arrival have your Indian lunch. Post lunch visit Osaka Castle, the castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century. Later proceed for shopping at Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. In the evening enjoy Indian dinner and transfer to your hotel. 5 VISA REQUIREMENTS Single-entry Japan Visa NOTE It is compulsory to pay a nominal amount of USD 05 per person / per day as Tips to the guide / driver for service rendered. Porterage is not included in the tour. IMPORTANT The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full-paying passengers travelling together. In the event that the group size is less than 25 passengers you will be given on option of travelling on seat-in-coach basis, by paying an additional supplement. There are certain sightseeing s which will not be included when clients are traveling on an FIT basis (Group size below 25 clients). The details of this will be given prior to departure. The services of Thomas Cook Tour Manager will be provided with a group of minimum 25 full paying passengers. Our local representatives will be there to assist you in case the above requirement is not fulfilled. When the tour has less than 25 adults and is operated on a seat-in-coach basis, there will be instances where the drivers act as a guide as well. The price does not include Airfare, POE charges, Visa Cost & Insurance. 6 Note: Pre & Post tours are excluding service taxes. A person below 12 years is considered child and above 12 years, an adult. Lunch on the day of arrival will only be provided to guests who arrive by 1200 hours at the local destination. As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use roll away beds or 2 queen size beds and the room size may be the same as a double room. For certain departures, we may re-route the itinerary. However all sightseeing & inclusions will remain the same. Passengers from certain hubs on certain departure dates may have to depart one day prior to the departure date mentioned above. For exact departure dates from your hub cities, please check with your respective local sales office/ travel agent. SHOPPING STOPS As per Guides Union Regulation, it is compulsory to enter the Union certified shops in China & Hong Kong. The shops are compulsory for entry only; the clients need not buy anything. WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE The tour cost does not include POE charges, porterage and passport charges. Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate of exchange changes substantially prior to departure. Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menus provided by us. Tips to hotel waiters, drivers, etc. Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available. Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passenger other than those included in the What your Tour Price Includes box are to be paid for extra.

7 POINTS TO BE NOTED It is advisable to book 35 days prior to the departure date as the internal ticket rate might increase closer to the departure date, resulting in an increase in the Tour cost. The cabin category on the cruise is an inside stateroom cabin. Passengers joining this tour directly must travel to / from their hub city on their own expense. Meals at all the destinations are pre-set and a-la-carte is not possible. American breakfasts will be served throughout the tour. The images used in this brochure are for representation purposes only. Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during the stay shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be liable for the same. We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed necessary. The cost of extension of validity of ticket is not included in Tour price. We reserve the right to use alternate cruise liners for any particular departure; excursions advertised or substitute a cruise of similar class if deemed necessary. Due to high occupancy on the cruise, it is possible that the cabins provided would be of alternate category or Inside Stateroom. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all services will remain the same. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if the rate of exchange changes substantially prior to departure. The Company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary. The same will be informed to the client before departure. Cable car ride is operated subject to weather conditions. Due to Trade Fairs and conventions in the cities, it is possible that the hotel accommodation provided would be outside the city. The same will be informed in advance. Hotels mentioned are subject to availability. Passengers can board the tour from the hub city. Those boarding from any other city can do so, however all expenses to/ from the hub city is to be borne by the passengers. There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour. The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement. Certain departure dates will have surcharges applicable, please contact our local sales office for details. Standard check-in time for the hotels is 1400hrs while check-out is at 1200hrs. Check-in at Genting Highlands is at 1500 hrs. The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains, flights, coach, cruise or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passenger. In Genting clients are required to carry only an overnight bag. Their main luggage will be kept in lockers provided by Genting management. Thomas Cook will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. Passage for a pregnant woman will only be permitted before her 24th week of pregnancy at the time of sailing of the cruise. For the safety reasons Infants below 6 months of age may not be allowed onboard the cruise. Tours operated subject to RBI/GOI regulations. Part of the Tour cost will be paid in USD out of the BTQ.
