1 Updated October 2016 Navy Centrifuge-based Flight Environment Trainer (CFET) Student Training Information Student check-in is 0715 on the day of training, in the Academic Classroom, Bldg 170, with current Up-Chit Physical Training Location/Mailing Address: KBRwyle 2485 Gillingham Drive, Bldg. 170 Brooks City-Base, TX Note: If you have already been fitted for your G-Suit, please bring it with you. If you do not bring your own fitted G-Suit, KBRwyle will lend one to you for that day. Navy/Marine Corps students coming to Brooks City-Base in San Antonio, TX for centrifuge training will be required to make lodging arrangements via their parent command directives. Please note that Lackland, Randolph and Fort Sam Houston Joint Bases, offer lodging facilities and are each ~30 minutes, without traffic, from Brooks City-Base. For your convenience, a map and directions for the base lodging facilities and a couple area hotels are attached. These facilities may/may not be available through your travel arrangements. Instructions from your parent command/defense Travel System (DTS) will take precedence over any course preparation or participation instructions included in this document. Furthermore, it should be noted that the following facilities are not endorsed by KBRwyle and may/may not be endorsed by the DoD. 7 Directions from New Braunfels Ave to Bldg 170 at Brooks City-Base, TX Stay on New Braunfels Ave for 0.5 miles Turn right (signal light) onto Sidney Brooks At 0.5 miles turn right onto Dave Erwin Drive/Kennedy Hill Rd. At 0.1 miles turn left onto Gillingham Drive First right into 1 st parking lot entrance and park in marked slots. Bldg 170 is to the North marked with wyle sign. Enter Bldg. 170 at double glass doors just up a small set of stairs under wyle sign. Building access: Building 170 requires access badges, if no one is at the door; ring the doorbell for entry assistance or call the numbers below. Check-in: Check-in starts promptly at 0715 in the Classroom. Academics will begin immediately after check-in procedures are complete. Reminder: Please make sure you have your current Up-Chit.
