1 Northern Italy And Tuscany Explorer Long Stay in Italy: the North, Tuscany and Rome - Fall 2017 Vicenza is located in the Veneto region of Italy. It's a medium-sized town, with a population of 110,000. Vicenza is a lovely town to visit; with a beautiful, compact town center and attractive villas and viewpoints in the hills a short walk away. We ve chosen this specific area for 10 or11 nights because from there, it is easy to visit the North of Italy by your own or by taking excursions: Venice, Mestre, Verona, Padua etc. to learn more about Vicenza click here Montecatini Terme is located in Tuscany and is the biggest spa-town in Italy. A 7-Night stay is perfect for travelers who want to see the city amenities and to take short trips to the nearby cities of Lucca, Florence, Pisa, or Sienna all easily reachable by bus or by train (2 train stations: Montecatini Terme- Monsummano and Montecatini Centro ). Also the spas, the golf clubs, the funicular Funicolare, markets, theatres, many restaurants and night clubs help make a wonderful vacation experience in Montecatini. Concerts, fairs, ballrooms, art exhibitions and festivals attract both the locals ( inhabitants) and the tourists. Please register at the airport s airline counter at least (3) hours prior to departure time. (please refer to your electronic tickets for the names of the airport and airline counter). October 1 st or October 2 nd VENICE-VICENZA After a connecting flight within Europe, arrival at Venice Marco Polo Airport. Accommodation: Vicenza Tiepolo, for 10 or 11 nights (depending on the package chosen) Group transfers are planned as below (according to your arrival flights): From Venice Airport to Vicenza city October 1 st at approx. 2 PM or October 2 nd at approx. 12:30 PM or 2 PM Note: Those are the scheduled transfers for our block of seats, if ever you book other flights from other Canadian city, please make sure to arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) before above specific times. From October 1 st or 2 nd to October 11 th VICENZA Daily American buffet breakfast included. Stay at leisure. 3 October 12 th VICENZA- MONTECATINI TERME After breakfast, group transfer from Vicenza to Montecatini Terme. Upon arrival you will receive your keys. Rest of the day at leisure Accommodation: Parma & Oriente, for 7 nights (for client who have booked prior February 23 rd), and Grand Hotel Nizza et Suisse (for client who have booked after February 23 rd) October 13 th - October 18 th MONTECATINI TERME Daily American buffet breakfast included. Stay at leisure Johanne and Don will be on site to assist and organize optional excursions to Florence, Siena, Pisa etc. October 19 th MONTECATINI TERME_- ROME After breakfast, group transfer from Montecatini Terme to Rome. Upon arrival you will receive your keys. Rest of the day at leisure Accommodation: Best Western Hotel Universo 4* or Royal Santina 4* or similar for 2 or 3 nights (depending of your Canadian city departure Package). October 20 th or October 20 th and 21 st ROME Daily American buffet breakfast included. Stay at leisure. Johanne and Don who will be escorting this group will be on site to assist and organize optional excursions in the Eternal city. October 21 st or 22 nd ROME - CANADA Group departure transfer to Rome FCO airport. Group transfers are planned as below (according to your return flight): One group transfer planned for October 21 st and one for October 22 nd. Both are planned for early morning (approx. 03:30 AM) for flights leaving FCO Rome at approx. 6:30 /6:45 B: Buffet breakfasts OPTIONAL SICILY EXTENSION includes : 7 nights hotel Isabella Taormina 3* or similar with daily breakfast. May include an overnight in Rome upon return, may include an extra night in Rome before extension. IMPORTANT NOTES: The hotels chosen are European 4* for Main Land package and 3* for optional Sicily extension they would be comparable to North American 3*. Seat selection: This promotional rate does not permit advance seat selection because it is part of a Group (special fare). At time of ticketing, a little more than a month prior departure, Exotik Tours will notify the airline which passengers are travelling together in an effort to have them seated together. We can guarantee the seat but not the seating (seat number).there are no exceptions to the seating rules allowed with this promotion and Exotik Tours cannot be held responsible if passengers do not get their preferred seat.
