1 NR. 16 HISTORICAL BOAT RACE IN VENICE Sunday 1 st September like every year on the first Sunday of September, the Regata Storica boat race will take place in Venice. It is one of the most traditional of Venetian events, that took place for the first time on the 10 th January 1315 during the Dogancy of Giovanni Soranzo. This magnificent day used to be organised by the Serenissima to celebrate military victories or to welcome foreign dignity; the historical procession and the race. Not to be missed! ART EXHIBITION CAVALLO CAVALLINO IN UN LUOGO DI VENEZIA Until the 1 st September, from 6.00 pm to pm at the Conference Hall Union Lido there will be the art exhibition Cavallo Cavallino in un luogo di Venezia with the works of Piergiorgio Baroldi. LIVE MUSIC BELLA BLUES BAND Monday 2 nd September from 9.00 pm in Piazza Lido music entertainment with the Bella Blues Band. The band is composed of Adriano Vettore guitar and voice, Francesco Mazilli bass and voice, Loris Veronesi drum and Donato Cuzzato piano and organ Hammond, Sergio Caregnato saxophone.

2 LIVE MUSIC BEACH BAR AND GALLERY IN THE STREET Tuesday 3 rd September from 9.00 pm, at the Beach Bar (East Beach of the Resort) evening with music entertainment! In the same evening, from 6.00 pm at the Shopping Center, Gallery in the street Artists at work. CAVALLINO INTERNATIONAL ORGAN FESTIVAL Tuesday 3 rd September from 9.00 pm in the Santa Maria Elisabetta Church in Cavallino, where the historic Giacomo Bazzani organ (1890) is located, an organ concert will take place: Donato Cuzzato, artistic director of the festival, will perform GRAPE FESTIVAL Wednesday 4 th September there is the Grape Day in our Resort! In the afternoon, all the children can take part to funny country games with our Animation Team. In the evening you can enjoy in the pedestrian area the Gallery in the Street Working Artists and a party, with a demonstration of the antique way of pressing grapes and grape juice tasting, all accompanied by the musical entertainment with the Leoni di San Marco.

Our animators will be present to have a first meeting with our youngest guests and to explain all the animation activities, from the mini club in the morning to the mini disco in the evening.

6 TREVISO & WINE TASTING Departure by bus from Jesolo Lido (Hotel Alexander Piazza Nember) at 8.30 am. Arrival in Treviso at about 9.30am, one of the most attractive and lively towns in the Venetian region, an hour s coach ride from Lido di Jesolo, the guide will accompany the group through the old town with medieval houses and Renaissance palaces. Free time for shopping. At about 1.00 pm movement direction Musile di Piave, not far from Jesolo, just to see a typical farm. You can visit a vineyard with a guide that describes how wine is produced, then in the cellar you can have a taste of various wines produced on the site accompanied by snacks and after that a light lunch(drinks included). Before leaving, for those interested, there will be the opportunity to buy local wine and grappa directly from the maker. Arrival in Jesolo around 4.00 pm. If you decide to visit Venice by yourself, you can use the excellent bus boat public service. From to there will be also a special ATVO bus from Union Lido to Punta Sabbioni and back, every day except Sundays and festivities.
