Pickups will be in either Coldwater or Celina, St. Marys, Wapak and Lima. Exact pickup times will be determined approximately 30 days prior to the trip Lunch on your own enroute 2:30 pm Stop at the Grape Discovery Center in New York to learn about the art of Wine making 5:30 pm Arrive at the Heron Hill Bristol Tasting Room, located on Seneca Point Road in Canandaigua for an included wine tasting and dinner. 7:00 pm Depart for hotel near Syracuse, NY. 8:15 pm Check in to hotel in Syracuse NY Day 2 - Monday, October 3 Breakfast in the hotel 7:30 am Depart for Ben & Jerry s & Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Vermont Lunch on your own enroute Afternoon Arrive at Ben and Jerry s Ice Cream Factory for tour and taste of Vermont s finest ice cream. Visit Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Open the door to a mouth-watering aroma of fresh-baked cider donuts and watch apple cider being made. The Cider Mill gift shop offers a fine collection of Vermont specialty food products, crafts and wines. 4:30 pm Arrive at the world famous VonTrapp Family Lodge. The Sound of Music resonates during your stay at this classic Austrian chalet, owned and operated by the Trapp family. 6:00 pm Savor the flavors of the old country as you dine on an Austrian buffet dinner. From Wiener Schnitzel to Linzortorte, you will love every bite! Day 3 - Tuesday, October 4 Rise and shine for a hearty breakfast at the resort. 8:45 am Join a Trapp Family Guide for a history lesson. Learn how the Von Trapp family settled in Stowe, VT on an enchanted farm with sweeping mountain views reminiscent of their beloved Austria 10:20 am Depart for Burlington VT for lunch cruise on the Spirit of Ethan Allan III. 11:20 am Climb aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen III, a 434-passenger cruise ship sailing on Lake Champlain. Enjoy a buffet lunch and listen to the Captain s narration of the region s rich history, witness spectacular panoramas and search for Champ, the lake s friendly monster. 1:30 pm Depart for the Shelburne Museum where you will discover treasures from America s past. The Museum is described as one of the world s great museums of American folk art, artifacts and architecture. Explore 37 exhibit buildings, stroll through 45 scenic acres, and discover 80,000 pieces of Americana including the most important collection of wildfowl decoys in the world, an outstanding collection of quilts, coverlets, and hooked rugs and over 200 horse drawn vehicles. See the 220-foot side-wheel steamboat, the Ticonderoga that is a National Historic Landmark.

2 4:00 pm Depart the Museum and travel to the Lake Morey Resort, your home for the next two nights. The resort is nestled in the Vermont hills above the Connecticut River, where the natural beauty immediately draws you in. This 100 year-old resort offers an exceedingly high level of hospitality. 6:00 pm Welcome reception and orientation to the resort followed by included Dinner is served in the Main Dining Room that affords breathtaking views of the surroundings. The Executive Chef prides himself in using the freshest, local ingredients as he prepares his creative American cuisine. After dinner you may visit the Steamboat Lounge for a nightcap or watch a classic movie shown in the resort s in-house theater. Day 4 - Wednesday, October 5 Start your day with an included buffet breakfast served at the resort. Meet your step-on guide during breakfast. 8:15 am Depart the resort and travel to Quechee Gorge, Vermont s Little Grand Canyon. Enjoy beautiful vistas from 168 feet above the river. There will be time to debark the coach and to take photos. 9:15 am Board the coach and travel to Squam Lake, 10: 30 am Board a canopied pontoon boat and sail off on a fascinating and picturesque 50-minute cruise. (Open boats so dress appropriately). Covering 6,791 acres, Squam is the secondlargest lake located entirely in New Hampshire and is where the 1981 movie On Golden Pond was filmed. Learn about the natural forces that created these lakes, the wildlife that makes it so special and the people who have enjoyed these lakes for over 5,000 years. 12:00 Noon Lunch on your own at Walter s Basin. It is a locals favorite and is located adjacent to the boat s dock. 1:00 pm Depart for the Castle in the Clouds 1:30 pm Arrive at an exquisite New Hampshire country estate that was built in 1913 by Thomas Plant, who made his fortune in the shoe manufacturing industry. The mountaintop property offers breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesauke and 1,000 feet of waterfalls and walking trails. You will quickly learn why this is called Castle in the Clouds. 3:30 pm Depart for The Old Country Store and Museum. The store is among the oldest in the country and also one of the oldest surviving businesses of any kind. It has been the scene of town meetings in the early 1800 s, the town s library, the post office and a stage stop. 4:30 pm Depart the Old Country Store & travel back to Lake Morey Resort. 6:00 pm Dinner included in the Resort s dining room. Rest of evening is free to enjoy the resort Day 5 - Thursday, October 6 Breakfast included at the Resort 8:00 am Check out and depart with local guide Begin your day with a journey along the Kancamagus Highway, a 34.5-mile scenic drive. The highway is well known as one of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country and is designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture. There will be time for photo ops along the way. 10:15 am Arrive in North Conway and board the Conway Scenic Rail. Enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience as you journey on historic rail routes in vintage passenger cars (most from the 1920s). On this excursion, you will travel south past the Moat Mountain Range and cross the Moat Brook, the Saco and Swift Rivers on the way to Conway. 11:30 am. Train ride ends. There will be time have lunch on your own in one of the many eateries in North Conway. 1:00 pm Board the coach and travel to Franconia Notch State Park. Along the route, you will pass Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern US. Located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway. Take in the scenery that includes a beautiful lake situated right at the base of the granite cliffs. There will be time to

3 walk on the gentle paths, to visit the museum in tribute to The Old Man in the Mountain or to take an optional tram ride up Cannon Mountain. 3:30 pm Depart Franconia Notch State Park and travel back to the Lake Morey Resort to drop guide. Continue on to the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield, VT 5:30 pm Arrive at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield, VT 6:00 pm Dinner included tonight at a restaurant near the hotel. Day 6 - Friday, October 7 Breakfast at the hotel included 8:00 am Depart hotel for Hildene, the Lincoln s Family Home. 9:15 am Arrive at Hildene. Explore this grand 24-room estate and the beautiful gardens that were built by Abraham Lincoln s son, Robert Todd Lincoln, in 1905 in the scenic village of Manchester. It was home to only Lincoln descendants until 1975, longer than any other Lincoln residence. Your visit includes a self-guided tour of the home, Pullman train car, gardens and farm. 11:30 am Depart Hildene for lunch on your own in Manchester 1:00 pm Depart for Rockwell Exhibit & Sugar Shack Your visit includes a tour of the Sugar House, a video of Norman Rockwell s life in Arlington, and a tour of his exhibit. 2:30 pm Depart Arlington for hotel near Johnson City, NY 6:00 pm Check into hotel. The following limitation applies to Trip Cancellation: All cancellations must be reported directly to the Travel Supplier within 72 hours of the event causing the need to cancel, unless the event prevents it, and then as soon as is reasonably possible. If the cancellation is not reported within the specified 72 hour period, the Company will not pay for additional charges, which would not have, been incurred had You notified the Travel Supplier in the specified period. If the event prevents You from reporting the cancellation, the 72-hour notice requirement does not apply; however, You must, if requested, provide proof that said event prevented him or her from reporting the cancellation within the specified period
