8 THE LODGE PRIVATE EVENT VENUE Nestled on the corner of Nelson and Crescent Avenues, The Lodge provides guests with a distinctive Saratoga experience, perfect for hosting corporate or social events. The elegant décor and intimate atmosphere provide the ideal setting for private events your party guests will be talking about for years to come. Weddings, anniversaries, fundraisers, corporate dinners or rehearsal parties are just some of the events this social space can host. The Lodge features beautifully inlaid cedar walls, oak and pecan floors and picturesque outdoor landscaping. Enjoy an unforgettable Saratoga racing experience anytime February through December. Groups of up to 350 can be accommodated during the restaurant s regular hours or when closed to the public. Fortunes tiered seating ensures all guests have a breathtaking view of the track. Our Nevele Pride private dining room offers a more private space and outdoor deck access for parties of up to 70 guests. America s oldest continually operating track, opened in Named one of the world s greatest sporting venues by Sports Illustrated, the past comes alive in the historic grandstand every summer as fans experience not only the best in racing, but the track s unmatched ambiance and charm. Racing season begins in mid-july and continues through Labor Day with live thoroughbred racing every Wednesday Monday. Early risers will also enjoy watching the morning workouts. Saratoga Spa State Park. 2.4 Miles. US Route 9. Saratoga Spa State Park, distinguished by its classical architecture and listed as a National Historic Landmark, is noted for its diverse cultural, aesthetic and recreational resources. In addition to the nationally known Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Spa Little Theater, the National Museum of Dance, the Gideon Putnam Hotel and the Lincoln mineral baths, the park offers a multitude of recreation opportunities including picnic areas, walking and running paths and snowshoeing in the winter. Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). 2.6 Miles. Saratoga Spa State Park. SPAC opened more than 50 years ago in July of Today it is the summer home of the New York City Ballet, Chamber Music Festival, and The Philadelphia Orchestra. The Racing Museum is committed to perpetuating the story of thoroughbred racing and is dedicated to the belief that racing is more than just a sport. Special exhibits and educational programs are scheduled throughout the year. Saratoga National Golf Club. 4.7 Miles. 458 Union Avenue. Ranked one of the nation s top public courses year after year by Golf Digest and Golfweek magazines, Saratoga National is open seven days a week without restrictions on times of play or number of guests. The Roger Rulewich designed course takes full advantage of the property s natural beauty and incorporates five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. The daily fee includes a golf car with GPS Yardage System, all-day use of the practice facility and all amenities at the beautiful Victorian-style clubhouse. Saratoga Polo Association. 3.7 Miles. 2 Bloomfield Road, Greenfield Center. Established in 1898, the Saratoga Polo Association hosts world-class polo matches every summer. Experience the excitement of a live polo match in a beautifully picturesque setting. Matches are played at the historically celebrated Whitney Field, one of the four oldest polo fields in the United States.
