Surrounded by canals and timber-framed buildings, the hotel is now a 5-star establishment and an emblematic feature of the picturesque Petite France quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage site since A BIT OF HISTORY A mill in the 17th century, the building became an ice house or Klareiswerke zur Dünzenmühle during the 19th century, which supplied blocks of ice to storekeepers, brewers and private homes in the region. The production decreased with the arrival of the refrigerator and was stopped completely in The Hotel Régent Petite France opened on 1 May 1992 and offers its guests an exceptional experience in a setting that harmoniously combines history and modernity.

The 89 m² suite can be extended with a 25 m² adjoining bedroom. Entirely bathed in light, the suite offers a unique 180 view over Strasbourg's canals and architectural heritage. For the decoration, we have opted for a contemporary feel with delicate fabrics and carefully chosen furniture.

3 THE BREAKFAST The breakfasts are copious and healthy! The breakfast buffet is attentively set-up every morning in the seventies style breakfast area, from 7.00 am to am. Guests are spoiled with a range of organic and local produce; they can choose from an ample selection of breads and pastries, sweet and savoury items, and a wide variety of fresh produce. Some gluten-free products are also available. And if they prefer, guests can opt for a pleasant awakening to a continental breakfast served in their room. THE RESTAURANT LE PONT TOURNANT Refined, original and local! This is how one can describe the cuisine of our new Chef, Boris Derendinger, whose motto is to work fine ingredients without altering them. He invites its guest to follow his gastronomy path in the cozy setting of the restaurant, which offers a magnificent view on the traditional half-timbered houses of the Petite France district. The restaurant is open in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday from 7.00 pm to pm and has a capacity of 35 places. During the warm season the guests can be served on the terrace on the bank of the Ill. The Chef also offers a Snacking menu at the Champagne bar displaying his Signature dishes, such as the club sandwich, the tartar steak, the famous Caesar salad

4 THE CHAMPAGNE BAR In a quiet atmosphere the hotel s Champagne Bar offers a large choice of aperitifs, soft drinks and spirits, including, as the name suggests, more than 20 varieties of champagne. The bar is open every day from 5.00 pm to 1.00 am. THE SEMINAR ROOMS Conferences, cocktail gatherings and gala dinners can be organised in one of 4 different naturally-lit seminar rooms. All the necessary equipment is available.

The guests shall find a sauna, a hammam as well as a refreshing sensorial shower. An outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace surrounded by our luxury sun loungers let them savour the fantastic architecture of the Alsatian buildings surrounding the hotel on the bank of the Ill. The different massage therapies include treatments for body and face, either by yourself or you can share this unique experience for two in our double room.
