2 WELCOME TO TYAX LODGE & HELISKIING PRIVATE PLATINUM PACKAGE UNIQUE, LUXURIOUS, CUSTOM THE PROGRAM Our Platinum Package is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Exclusivity runs through every portion of the program. The Platinum Package offers the same unlimited single group skiing as our Signature Program, but we take every step to the next level. Indulge in the pampering of your own private team, including a concierge, massage therapist, chef, pilot and guides, while residing in your own private chalet. Complete your bucket list and create unforgettable memories. The Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing team will be waiting to greet you and take you to your private chalet. After a safety orientation and some essential paperwork, you will have the evening to settle in and make use of the amenities and spa, before your first gourmet dinner is served. Start the next day with a hearty breakfast and optional stretch class. Your private helicopter will be waiting for you outside the chalet when you are ready. Lunch is served in the mountains and each day after skiing, après ski is served. Enjoy massage treatments and body work, or simply relax in Spirit Bear chalet s private hot tub and/or hot rock sauna. On the final day of skiing, guests will return to the chalet mid-day to prepare for their departure. Please note that in some conditions we are unable to fly and will transport by ground to Vancouver or wherever the outbound destination is. 2

Whether you want big mountain riding, rolling blankets of white pillows or wind lips to air, we have it all! Our 830,000 acres of ski terrain roughly compares to 200 times larger than Vail, Colorado or 10 times larger than Les Trois Vallées in France. 4 LOCATION Our vast terrain lies in a transition zone between the Coastal Mountains and the dry rolling Fraser Plateau in the South Chilcotin Mountains, providing magnificent mountains, an abundance of dry snow and plenty of sunshine. 4

6 ROOM DESCRIPTIONS SPIRIT BEAR CHALET MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM #1 A cozy space with a king bed. A sliding door leads directly out to the hot tub, and overlooks the lake. Log walls with hooks to hang clothes. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet, and pedestal sink. MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM #2 Second best room in the chalet. Has a king bed. Large space with an armoire for storage, and a reading chair. Log walls with windows overlooking the entrance and the lake. Ensuite bathroom has a toilet, sink with vanity and shower. MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM #3 A smaller room with a large closet for storage, and queen-sized bed. Overlooks the front grounds. The ensuite bathroom has a single sink with vanity, shower, and has a separate toilet. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM #1 Cozy room with 2 XL twin beds which can be converted to a king bed. Dresser, and closet with shelves, make up the storage. Overlooks the entrance. Ensuite bathroom has a large shower, toilet and single sink. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM #2 Large airy room with a king bed. Benches provide seating, and a large closet with shelves provides the storage. Overlooks the yard and the lake. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM #3 Large airy room with a king bed. Large bench in room for seating and a large closet with shelves provide storage. Overlooks the yard. Upstairs bedrooms #2 and #3 share a bathroom, which has a tub/ shower combintion, toilet, and two sinks. 6

Highboy dresser in the room and an adjoining dressing room, which doubles as a large walk-in closet. Ensuite bathroom has a soaker tub, separate toilet, 2 sinks, and a shower. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM #5 A quiet room with a king bed. Bench and dresser in room, along with hooks on wall for hanging clothes. Room overlooks the entrance. Ensuite bathroom has a shower, sink with vanity and has a separate toilet. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM #6 Large room with a king bed. There is a small closet and dresser. Window overlooks the yard and lake. Large ensuite bathroom. There is also a private external entrance. COMMON FEATURES IN ALL BEDROOMS Bedside lamps, night stands, alarm clocks with ipod docking stations. COMMON FEATURES IN ALL BATHROOMS Wastebasket, tissue holder, soap dish, mirror, cotton balls and swabs in container, amenity tray and hair dryer. LIVING ROOM FEATURES Living room has a game area/table with poker, and other games provided. Large seating area with leather chairs and seating for 9 people around the large stone fireplace. Complete surround sound with ipod docking station, along with a 50 plasma TV screen with satellite service. SOLARIUM Overlooks the yard and lake. Features two lounge chairs and an ottoman. 7

8 DINING AREA Seats up to 10 people. Dinnerware/place settings are available. SPIRIT BEAR CHALET KITCHEN AREA Large kitchen with raised bar area, and a 6 burner/charbroiler rangetop. MASSAGE ROOM The massage room is fully equipped and has a hydraulic lift massage table plus a separate ipod/cd music system to set the mood for your relaxation time. UPSTAIRS BALCONY Features a communal area for guests to use their own computers. Wireless internet is available, along with a fax machine. MEDIA ROOM A separate media room/play area with seating is located in the basement. Dart board and ping pong are available. BOOT ROOM There is also a downstairs entrance to the boot room for skiers. Bench seating surrounds the room and there is a boot/glove heater for boots/gloves. Hooks surround the room for jackets and a non-skid rubber flooring to eliminate slipping in ski boots. LAUNDRY ROOM Has a commercial freezer, extra fridge, washer/dryer, and lots of linen storage available. 8

10 ITINERARY We are here to make your trip as memorable as possible and will customize your perfect dream vacation around you. Schedules can change depending on weather and logistics. ARRIVAL DAY Pick-up in Vancouver or Whistler Heli transfer from either Vancouver Airport or Vancouver Harbour to Tyax Lodge Orientation / Safety Meeting & Training Dinner SKI DAYS Ski as little or as much as you desire every day Stretch Class in the chalet at 6:30 am Breakfast Heliskiing Arrive home from skiing / Après Ski Massage Dinner DEPARTURE DAY Stretch Class in the chalet at 6:30 am Breakfast Heliskiing Arrive home from skiing 12:00 pm Transfer departs by air from Tyax Lodge to Vancouver (weather permitting) 1:00 pm PRE & POST STAYS Included in the Platinum Package is a pre and post one night stay in either Vancouver or Whistler. 10

11 GENERAL INFORMATION TRANSFERS Transfers by helicopter are not confirmed until the day of the transfer due to weather. Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing reserves the right to cancel air transfers due to weather conditions. Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing reserves the right to schedule ground transfers instead of air transfer as needed. PAYMENTS Platinum Packages require a 20% deposit of the total amount of the package at the time of booking. Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival. All reservations booked within the 90-day period will be due in full at the time of booking. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit is paid. All payments are non-refundable. TAXES All rates are subject to a 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST), as well as a 7-8% Provincial Sales Tax (PST), and 3% Municpal & Regional District Tax (MRDT) as currently set by the Federal Government of Canada and the Provincial Government of British Columbia. CANCELLATIONS Written notification of cancellation is required. The cancellation must be confirmed, also in writing, by Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing. Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing reserves the right to cancel package at any time; full refunds will be given if this is the case. 11

12 GENERAL INFORMATION REFUNDS No refund is given for any unused portion of your package due to injury, illness, poor physical fitness or skiing ability. There is no refund if you choose not to participate in any activity or to return to the chalet early. LIABILITY WAIVERS Prior to heliskiing all participants will be required to sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement. Guests will not be able to take part in any portion of any trip with Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing without a signed agreement. INSURANCE It is highly recommended that all guests purchase trip cancellation, trip interruption and medical insurance. Please ensure you are fully aware of our cancellation policies on our website Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing recommends the third-party provider Lifestyle Financial. 12
