4 ROUTING DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI Late night Arrive Delhi. Welcome at the airport with Mouli - a cotton red thread, considered to be very sacred and used in religious ceremonies in India. This red thread is believed to protect the person who wears it from evil. Transfer to the hotel by Volvo coach with accompanying English speaking guide. On arrival, experience the traditional Indian Welcome with Aarti & Tika followed by a non-alcoholic welcome drink. 5 DAY 2 DELHI ROUTING Breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Depart by coach for the visit of Old Delhi enroute orientation tour of New Delhi driving past the Secretariat buildings, President s Palace and India Gate. Arrive at Old Delhi and proceed for the visit of Jama Masjid - India s largest mosque built in After the visit of Jama masjid, take a cycle rickshaw ride (02 Pax per rickshaw) through the colorful markets and narrow lanes of Old Delhi. Thereafter a short walk through the narrow lanes to reach your venue for Lunch Dharampura Haveli, a 130 year old mansion which is bound to take you back in time to the Mughal era of royalty and finesse. 6 ROUTING DAY 3 DELHI / AGRA /JAIPUR Breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel Luggage will be collected at the hotel lobby and transferred directly to the Jaipur hotel by a luggage van Hrs. Transfer by coach to the railway station Hrs. Depart by Gattiman express train to Agra ( Air conditioned chair car class). 0950Hrs. Arrive Agra and transfer by coach to the Tonga boarding point and there after transfer by Tonga (Horse Carriage) to the main entrance of the Taj Mahal Visit of The Taj Mahal - the flawless architectural creation by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz. [Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday]. After the visit,transfer by coach to the Peshawari restaurant at ITC Mughal for Lunch (Indian Cuisine) Served Lunch at the restaurant Optional Lunch on the elevated gardens of Taj Khema overlooking the Taj Mahal with live performance by Sita and Tabla (instrumental music) musicians. During the course of lunch, the guests would have the option of getting Henna tattoo by a Henna Artist!6

7 DAY 3 ROUTING Hrs). DELHI /AGRA / JAIPUR Post lunch, drive towards Jaipur (240 Kms /approx 4.5 On board the coaches, masseurs (2 per coachone male & one female) for head and shoulder massage. En-route stop at Umaid Lake Palace, Kalakho for tea/coffee break. Optional Charter flight to Jaipur (flying time approx. 45 mins) Arrive Jaipur followed by check in Maharaja welcome on Arrival at the hotel. As was in the past, when Maharajahs used to return after state visits or had Royalty visiting them, a stunning tableau of decorated camels, horses, elephants used to unfold into a ceremonial welcome. Ladies in Rajasthani costumes perform the traditional garlanding aarti and tikka ceremonies while the music of the Shehnai welcomes you. 8 ROUTING DAY 4 Optional teacher JAIPUR Yoga in the garden of the hotel by a professional Yoga Breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Morning at Leisure Lunch in the restaurant of the hotel. Transfer by coach to Jeep boarding point and there after by Jeeps to the top of Amber Fort (4 Pax per Jeep) On arrival proceed for the visit of an ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort. Maharaja Man Singh, Mughal Emperor Akbar s most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake. Descend the fort and transfer by Jeeps to Dera Amer (Transfer time : approx 30 mins) Dera Amer is situated behind the hills of the famous Amber Fort at the foothills of the Aravali Range and surrounded by the wilderness of a reserved forest with no urban civilization in the vicinity, just a few hamlets housing the local villagers occupied by farming on the their fields!8

9 ROUTING DAY 4 JAIPUR Upon arrival at the camp the guests are greeted by elephants and the trumpeters. After feeding of bananas to the elephants, a welcome drink and face towels, the guests proceed inside the venue to be further greeted by decorated camels and local drummers. Sunset Elephant back safari in the Aravali forest adjoining the farm (approx 30 minutes) Optional: Village Fair theme The guests can then experience a genuine and exclusive Village Theme set-up with constituents like the rope walker, stilt walker, folk dancers, potters, heena ladies, masseur's, magician, astrologers, handicrafts, bangles maker and vendor, puppeteer, jooti wala etc.. 10 DAY 5 JAIPUR/ SAMODE Breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Check out and depart for a tuk tuk orientation tour of the Old city of Jaipur passing through some iconic land marks of the city such as the Hawa Mahal and end at the City Palace (the current residence of the Royal family of Jaipur) Post the tour, Free time for shopping in the bazaars Transfer by coach for Lunch at Samode Haveli a Heritage hotel Post Lunch, drive to Samode Palace (50 Kmsapprox. 01 ½ Hr.) At the gates of Samode village guests switch over to canopied camel carts and proceed in a royal procession with a local band through the quaint village of Samode, upto the Palace Arrive at the Samode Palace followed by check in. 11 DAY 5 JAIPUR / SAMODE Guests will be offered traditional Indian attire- Saree's for the ladies and Kurta Pyjama's & Safa s (turbans)for the men for the Gala Dinner Gala Dinner at Samode Palace. Guests to assemble at the main entrance of the Palace where they will be welcomed by a stunning tableau of decorated camels & horses in front of the illuminated Palace and girls in traditional costume, showering rose petals to the strains of shenai music and drums. Cocktails in the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), and the regal Durbar Hall during which the guests are entertained to an extravaganza of Rajasthani folk dances & music. They are then led by musicians & Dancers to the illuminated terrace of the castle for a sumptuous dinner under the stars, and the evening ends with a resplendent fireworks display.
