Surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields a warm welcome awaits you at our French-Anglo family home, La Bellevue, set in the pretty village of Pouançay, 10 mins from Montreuil-Bellay, ideally placed between Saumur and Chinon. Discover The Plantagenets, the famous châteaux and Loire attractions. Walking and cycle paths are in abundance, a boat ride along the Loire river is a delight, savor local cuisine and the diverse regional wines, also finding time to simply relax and enjoy the calm and peace of our village setting The Barn, La Grange d Henri La Grange d Henri is a super self-catering gite for couples, fully equipped and beautifully presented to ensure homefrom-home comfort. Electrically operated entrance gates into the grounds of La Bellevue ensure privacy and secure

2 parking. Water and electricity are included. Bedroom : light and spacious the bedroom benefits from a separate loo and shower room, standard double bed, wall hanging mirror, chest of drawers, bedside drawers, bedside lamp and a curtain enclosed space for hanging clothes and hiding suitcases. Kitchen : equipped with a kettle, toaster, 4-ring induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, tea-pot and coffee filter. For your arrival gite essentials' await you incl. washing-up liquid, sponge, scratchy pad, bin liners, cling-film, aluminium foil, salt, pepper, olive oil and coffee filter papers. Living Room : french sliding doors open into the living room from the terrace and features a 2-seater sofa, large armchair, table and chairs. Freely available WiFi access, interior/exterior, up-to-date dvd s, dvd player, TV (French channels), reading books, board game/cards, walking routes, informative brochure, flyers for ideas of things to do and sights to see. Loo & Shower Room : separate and set-off the bedroom. The shower room is supplied with a hairdryer and floor mat and the loo, with loo rolls. Terrace : a super space for outside living, a sunny spot throughout the day until sun-set, furnished with metalwork garden table and chairs (incl. cushions), a charcoal bbq (Weber), 2x teak steamer chairs and a parasol which can be set at an angle. Car hire is available from Angers & Saumur train stations. Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais takes a convenient 35 mins. Trains leave throughout the day and night. BY ROAD : from Calais (560 kms, approx 5.5 hours), head towards Rouen, driving through Rouen continue along the A13 (Le Harve/Caen/Le Mans). Continue along the A28 (Rennes/Nantes/Le Mans-Université), taking the A11 continue towards Saumur/Tours. On the A85 leave the autoroute at Exit 3 (Saumur), continue along the D767 and

4 D347 direction Poitiers/Loudun. Pass through Le Coudray-Macouard, by-pass Montreuil-Bellay - look out for the stunning château. Continue in the direction of Poitiers/Loudun through a village called La Motte Bourbon, exactly 1 km outside of La Motte turn right on to the D55, Pouançay/Berrie. The retainer will be refunded 7 days after departure, after a gite inspection and the keys returned. * TAXE DE SEJOUR : 0,80cts per person, per night, payable upon departure. * CLEANING CHARGE : the gite and its inventoried equipment have been prepared to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, should the gite and its equipment not be left to a standard at departure, we regret to inform you a cleaning charge of 60 will be incurred. * TWO PLUS WEEKS STAY : the gite will undergo a weekly clean, 'gite essentials' will be replaced, alongside hired bedroom /household linen and Egyptian cotton towels. * La Grange d'henri is not suitable for babies or children. * We regret no pets are allowed. * Smoking is not permitted. Terms and conditions PAYMENT / CANCELLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS * To secure a reservation a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance will be requested 8 weeks prior to arrival. * If unforeseen circumstances occur resulting in a cancellation, from 8 weeks to the day/date of arrival, the period when full payment has been received/made, a guaranteed 25% of the full reservation payment will be reimbursed. * ONLY if the cancelled week(s) are re-booked will a 100% reimbursement be endorsed. * For protection against these unfortunate occurrences we strongly recommend obtaining Holiday Travel Insurance.
