Rogoznica enjoys the status of one of the most beautiful places on the east coast and the sailors know it for more than three thousand years as a peaceful and safe harbour. Today, Rogoznica is prestigious Mediterranean nautical center. Also, is one of the few destinations in the Adriatic where you can see crystal clear sea with beautiful natural beaches along its 50 km long coastline where the sun shines 2600 hours per year. Historical, traditional values and a long fishing tradition makes Rogoznica ideal destination for sport events related to the sea. Previous experience in organizing various sports, cultural and entertainment events, we can say that Rogoznica qualified for a good host with great hospitality and rich gastronomic offer. Welcome to Rogoznica, a place for rest with all the benefits of sea, sun and mild climate. Sport anglers will be able to enjoy sport fishing because our underwater area is rich of flora and fauna. This year our Sports Fishing Association celebrates 20 years of existence and we are honored to be hosts of the 8th World Championship. Dear anglers, members of our Sport Fishing Association "GOF" prepared a quality program and will provide excellent conditions for angling. Also, we will also show you a part of our traditions and cultural heritage. I am sure that you will bring fond memories and wish some day to visit our lovely Rogoznica again. 6

8 MARINA FRAPA Certainly one of the most beautiful and best equipped Marina in the Mediterranean, which is confirmed by numerous national and international awards for quality and expert guidance. Marina has the highest ecological standards in the world and therefore it is already 11 years the winner of the Blue Flag. Its located is in the central part of the Croatian coast, between Šibenik and Split, in a beautiful and from all sides protected bay. There are 10 piers and transit jetty in the complex, with 500 fully equipped berths and a guarded area for 150 dry berths. Vessels surveillance is 24 hours. 8

9 Accomodation There are two hotels, one on the little island and one on the mainland, open all year round. Air-conditioned apartments are equipped with telephone, television and minibar. Spacious terraces allow sunbath in the morning and in evening the beautiful Marina panoramic view. 16 III. TRANSFERS Transfer to Rogoznica, place of competition, is on cost of competitior. Contact for transfer are competition organizers. IV. OSIGURANJE Organizer at his own expense ensures, at the competent state authority, all competitors in case of an accident or death. V. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE National federation is responsible for entered data about team and shall ensure that all team members have health certificate as proof of their ability to participate in the competition. Instead of individual health certificate, national approval will be valid with health stamp if certificate is in one of the languages of the CIPS. The organizer will provide emergency medical team during the competition. The organizer will provide doctors authorized to issue medical certificates to candidates, if it is not ensured the national federation. The cost of the medical examination shall be borne by the competitor. VI. ANTIDOPING CONTROL We remind all candidates that submiting applications for participation in the competition implies that they accept all sports anti-doping rules in the WADA anti-doping program. VII. VISAS For traveling to Croatia candidates from EU countries, the US and countries that are on Schengen countries list (it is sufficient to have only a valid passport) do not need visas. 16

NATIONAL FLAG AND HYMN National organizations are responsible for supplying the Organiser with at least one flag state (preferably 2) in measure 100 cm x 200 cm and a CD with their national hymn. IX. MEDALS AND AWARDS FIPS-M provides official awards and other awards host of competition. X. MEANS OF PAYMENT (CURRENCY) Valid means of payment for the duration of the contest is in KUNA, but payments can be made by exchanging other currencys in all exchange offices and banks. Also credit cards American Express, Master Card, Dinners Card and Visa Card can be used. XI. FISHING EQUIPMENT SHOPS For the duration of the competition stands, on which will be able to buy all the fishing equipment, will be organized. XII. 30 5. SPRECIAL ARRANGEMENT If the team wants to arrive earlier for training purposes or to stay after the official end of the competition, you must apply before April 5 th.
