The World Voyage, By Cunard For 2020, lasting between nights, Queen Mary 2 will be exploring Australasia and the Far East. The World Voyage represents one of life s great travel adventures. The magic of traveling among the world s iconic destinations on board one of the world s most luxurious ships simply cannot be matched. It is a lifestyle choice that offers the opportunity to explore everything from bustling metropolises to remote villages, over the course of more than three months, all from the comfort of their ship. 4 DEPLOYMENT SECTION Global Introduction From November 2019 to June 2020, the Cunard fleet will travel over 149,572 nautical miles visiting incredible places around the globe. The most famous Ocean Liners in the world call at 123 destinations in 48 different countries, including 9 maiden calls for our current fleet. Each voyage, whether it is a 2 night short break or a full 113 night world voyage, aims to deliver a refined journey for our guests. Cunard has undertaken more world voyages and sent more ships around the world than any other passenger line, making us the true experts in world voyages. In fact, the concept of world cruising was invented by Cunard in 1922, when elegant Laconia completed the first ever continuous circumnavigation of the globe by a passenger liner visiting 22 ports in 130 days. In 2020, Cunard s iconic flagship, Queen Mary 2, will embark upon a classic voyage of global exploration, taking in such diverse regions as the Mediterranean, Southern Africa, the Indian Ocean, Australia and Southeast Asia. Queen Elizabeth will carry out a program of exotic voyages that offer richer, deeper and more regionally focused itineraries while Queen Victoria sets sail on a winter escape to South America that is packed full of must do experiences. Across the fleet, Cunard s winter program covers the world, offering a blend of iconic, world class cities and smaller, less wellknown but equally delightful destinations. Our itineraries have been crafted to offer enriching days in port as well as plenty of time on board for our guests to relax and enjoy all that our ships have to offer. Page 4

5 Queen Victoria Grand Voyages, by Cunard. & Region by Cunard. 23 voyage combinations ranging from 2 to 82 nights 41 ports 20 countries 2 maiden call for Queen Victoria Overnight stays in Manaus, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Callao Scenic cruising in the Amazon River, Panama Canal, Magellan Straits, around Cape Horn and the Chilean Fjords 22 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Queen Victoria s winter deployment consists of a series of European departures in November and December 2019, followed by an exotic South America escape which offers a mix of relaxation and exploration, and sails roundtrip from Europe. During this 2020 return to South America, she will be offering more immersive destinations and visiting the major cities, as well as embarking upon stunning scenic cruising along the Amazon River. Queen Mary 2 The World Voyage, by Cunard. Grand Voyages, by Cunard. & Region by Cunard. 35 voyage combinations ranging from 7 to 113 nights 38 ports; 26 countries Overnight stays in Haifa, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and a double overnight in Cape Town Transits the Suez Canal 38 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Queen Mary 2 will operate Cunard s only World Voyage in 2020 and will undertake her classic East West Voyage to Australia and Asia, with the Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean and Southern Africa. The World Cruise can be taken as a round trip from either New York (113 Nights) or London (99 nights). Shorter voyage options exist, ranging in length from one to three weeks and can be combined in many ways allowing guests to create the ideal travel experience from and to the iconic city of their choice. The beginning of the voyage is routed via the Mediterranean Sea and Suez Canal to the Arabian Gulf and across the Indian Ocean, entering Asia via the Malacca Straits. From there Queen Mary 2 will head north via Vietnam to Hong Kong before heading south to Australia. The final leg of the voyage is the return to London from Australia, which is routed via South Africa. The voyage includes a selection of overnight stays in iconic cities of the world; in fact there are more overnights in this voyage than in any of Queen Mary 2 s world voyages in the past 10 years. Queen Elizabeth Grand Voyages, by Cunard. & Region by Cunard. 75 voyage combinations ranging from 2 to 49 nights 67 ports 21 countries 14 maiden calls for Queen Elizabeth Overnight stays in Cape Town, Auckland, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai Scenic cruising in Fiordland National Park, New Zealand, as well as Alaska s Hubbard Glacier and the Inside Passage 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites In December 2019 and the first half of 2020, Queen Elizabeth offers a series of roundtrip voyages from international ports that offer deeper, richer and more regionally focused itineraries. In between these deployments will be exotic grand voyages that capture the imagination and spirit of adventure of travel lovers from around the world. Page 5

6 Australia Early December to early March Queen Elizabeth will operate six roundtrip voyages from Melbourne and two from Sydney, covering the popular regions of South Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand as well as a new itinerary that features the exotic paradise of Papua New Guinea. For the first time ever, a Cunard ship will be spending Christmas Down Under as Queen Elizabeth celebrates the holidays with a stunning Christmas and New Year voyage to New Zealand. This 14 night round trip from Melbourne will spend Boxing Day cruising serenely in the Fiordland National Park (home of the beautiful Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds) and will ring in the New Year 2020 with an overnight stay in Auckland. The Papua New Guinea voyage is a 14 night Sydney round trip which includes four ports of call in the lush and diverse mainland of Papua New Guinea and its islands. Two of these calls, Conflict Island and Kiriwina in the Trobriand Islands will be maiden calls for the Cunard brand. Japan mid April to early May Cunard s Japanese deployment will consist of three nine night round trip voyages and one of seven nights, embarking from the port of Yokohama, close to the heart of the capital city of Tokyo. The nine night voyages will highlight the multi faceted nature and deep cultural roots of Japan s main islands of Honshu and Kyushu, and are timed to take in the spectacular spring blooms across the region. The seven night cruise coincides with Golden Week which is one of Japan's busiest holiday seasons, and includes a maiden call to Fukuoka for the Dontaku festival. Overall, Queen Elizabeth will make five maiden calls to Japanese ports in 2020, giving our guests a taste of the real Japan that will delight passengers from around the world. Other cruises London to Melbourne The initial pathway out from London to Australia in November 2019 will follow the classic routing via Cape Town and Fremantle to Melbourne. The voyage will take in the Atlantic Islands and Namibia on the way to South Africa, and visits the Indian Ocean islands of Reunion and Mauritius en route to Australia. Guests can choose to disembark in Fremantle (for Perth) or stay on board to travel to Adelaide and Melbourne. Sydney to Tokyo At the end of the Australian home port collection in March, Queen Elizabeth will travel north to Japan via Southeast Asia. The voyage will include a variety of exotic and iconic Asian destinations such as Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China and South Korea. Tokyo to Vancouver Following the period of dedicated Japan cruises, the ship will cross the North Pacific and Gulf of Alaska en route to Vancouver. This voyage will visit ports in northern Japan, as well as the remote and stunning Russian district of Sakhalin on the way to Alaska and British Columbia. Page 6
