3 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - As you may already know, the resorts in the islands of Tahiti are famous for their beautiful and luxurious individual bungalows which may be situated on land or positioned directly over the calm, blue lagoons. As such, the resorts only have a relatively small number of accommodations available compared to the larger resorts found in Hawaii or the Caribbean. We would like to remind all guests that September is a very popular travel time for the islands of Tahiti and hotel/air space is limited. It is very important to make travel plans as early as possible in order to be assured of getting the air and hotel space for these dates as well as being able to get the best rates. By late February, we would anticipate most dates in early September to be nearly sold out for air and hotel space in Moorea and Bora Bora. On Bora Bora, the amazing lagoon is the key feature and, as a result, most activities are water-focused. Some examples include diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, jet skiing and wind surfing. 4 The Hotels Featured in the Specially Designed Wedding Party Travel Packages: Moorea Sofitel Ia Ora Resort & Spa Moorea s Sofitel is a lovely boutique style property. This resort fronts the island s best white sand beach, has stunning views toward the sister island of Tahiti, and offers the best sunrise view on Moorea. The property features 114 intimate garden, beach and overwater bungalows incorporating a blend of Polynesian as well as European-chic/contemporary interior designs. Some of the best snorkeling in all of Tahiti can be found just off-shore from the hotel and an excellent beachfront activities center can help you with kayaks and snorkeling gear. Otemanu, Le Meridien is surrounded by vast stretches of white sand beaches - definitely among the best beaches in Bora Bora. After undergoing an extensive renovation program in early 2011 and touch up program planned for next month, Le Meridien offers 99 bungalows including 10 beach bungalows and 85 (premium and regular) overwater bungalows featuring the largest glass floor panels for stunning views of the marine life underneath. The water around some of the premium overwater bungalows is quite deep and cool for excellent swimming and this bungalow category also offers an expanded deck and great views of Mt. Otemanu. One of the signature features of this property is the turtle sanctuary which is home to more than 100 marine turtle species where guests can experience the turtles in their natural habitat. Other hotel features include two infinity pools, a large variety of complimentary water sports equipment, fitness center, and canoe club. 5 Bora Bora St. Regis Resort & Spa This is the epitome of Bora Bora s wonderful and luxurious resorts. The hotel encompasses a lush 44-acre private island featuring 92 of Bora Bora s largest bungalows (villas) including pool beach villas, overwater villas and royal overwater pool villas. With wonderful views of Bora Bora, lovely beaches, and surrounded by brilliant lagoon waters, these are among the best villas in all of Tahiti.
