2 GILI LANKANFUSHI - OVERVIEW Just 20 minutes from Malé, the capital of the Maldives, Gili Lankanfushi is the resort to make your dreams of being cast away on an idyllic desert island a reality, with sumptuous villas and the exceptional Crusoe Residences and phenomenal Private Reserve to add a luxurious twist to this slice of paradise. This resort comprises 45 villas, including 7 Crusoe Residences and the Private Reserve. Villa Suite Villa Suites are large and spacious, with many attractive features including a rooftop sun deck and another over water sun deck. Inside the suites are equipped with king sized beds and there s an open-air private bathroom with separate glass walled shower area. Residence Residences are secluded for absolute privacy, offering king-size or twin beds and an open-air private bathroom with separate glass walled shower area. The indoor living space is air-conditioned with two large day beds, but outside there s a roof top sun deck with dining facilities and an over-water sun deck with sun-loungers to tempt you. Crusoe Residence These gorgeous island escapes stand alone above the glittering seas, meaning Crusoe Residences offer complete seclusion and the chance to immerse yourself in the rhythms of the ocean. The 250 square metre villa offers a King-size bed, large air-conditioned living room with day beds, two sun deck one of which floats a kitchenette and an open-air private bathroom with separate glass walled shower area. To get back to the main island there s a private rowing boat and a shuttle boat. Private Reserve As Gili Lankanfushi s star residence, the Private Reserve is a vast over-water villa accessible only by boat. Its exclusive seclusion comes with uninterrupted views of the coral reef and ocean, across five separate rustically designed buildings that cover 1,400sqm. The Reserve offers 2 master suites, each with ceiling to floor windows on 3 sides and an extra guest room with ensuite bathroom. Both master suites have horizon style 2-person bathtubs built over coral gardens, plus there s a unique open air private bathroom in addition to this. There s extensive indoor and outdoor living space including a large central open plan living area with a water slide down into the sea garden and natural coral pool, multiple sun decks, swim-to hammock. Dedicated personal butlers are on-call 24 hours a day, as well as speedboat crew, you can choose wines for cellar and although you can order food directly there s also a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can be pampered at the private Spa facility which has a sauna, steam-room, and both indoor and outdoor treatment pavilions. For something more active there s an air conditioned gymnasium, or drive your easy to use motor boat back to the main island to take advantage of the resort s facilities. The Private Reserve is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner and beverages. There s as much to do on land as there is in the water at Gili Lankanfushi, with activities such as sunrise yoga and Tai Chi classes, tennis and volleyball on offer as well as the gym. You can also explore in kayaks and canoes, sail a catamaran or go diving and windsurfing. A huge range of excursions such as dhoni cruises, dolphin watching, trips into Malé, guided snorkeling and private cinema screenings can also be arranged. The Meera Spa has a wide range of ocean-inspired treatments to soothe and pamper there are even underwater views available from the massage table. There are a number of dining options available, including three restaurants one of which serves Peruvian-Japanese cuisine with breathtaking seaside views. There s also a series of Unique Dining Experiences which you can book for something very special, the main bar and a dedicated Wine Cellar with more than 300 labels.
