1 RULES AND GUIDELINES 1. Players must have an ISSA issued I.D. before they can participate. Team Officials are to check each other s I.Ds. 2. Home teams are named first and MUST provide match balls, refreshment and match forms. 3. Phone in results to or to the media on the same afternoon and then submit match cards the day after the match to the following schools: Zone A Montego Bay High Zone G Vere Tech. Zone B Montego Bay High Zone H Vere Tech. Zone C Manning s School Zone I Dinthill Tech. Zone D STETHS Zone J St. Mary High Zone E Holmwood Tech. Zone K Marcus Garvey Tech. Zone F Bishop Gibson Zone L St. Thomas Tech. 4. Each school MUST provide a qualified umpire (no teacher/umpire on staff and also no relative) for the preliminary round of matches. 5. Matches should be played on the home ground of each school, except where other arrangements have been made by that school. It is the responsibility of that school to inform their opponents and to ensure that alternative facilities are properly prepared. 6. The courts should be roped off, well swept, and nets attached to the goal rings. 7. The Principal or his/her representative (preferably a senior teacher) from each school MUST be present (and visible) at every match. 8. Umpire s fees shall be $800 per match for each umpire plus travelling at $23 per Km or a flat rate of $650 from base. 9. Matches should begin at 2:30 p.m. ISSA reserves the right to decide on ALL venues to be used. 10. Winners and runners-up from each group will advance to the second round. 11. All preliminary matches not completed by October 30, 2009 will be considered abandoned. 12. Senior Matches Four quarters of ten (10) minutes each, with intervals of two (2) minutes between them. Half time shall be four (4) minutes. Junior Matches Four eighth (8) minutes, each with an interval of two (2) minutes. Half time four (4) minutes. 13. There shall be NO postponement without the permission of ISSA. Request should be in writing at least 1 week before the game. 14. Tie-breakers Goal average will be used.
