3 These regulations are effective within and on all Jetty Park and Campground located at 9035 Campground Circle, Cape Canaveral, FL under the jurisdiction or control of the (CPA). The has the power to prescribe, fix and establish rules and regulations for Jetty Park, including fines and penalties, and to enforce such rules and regulations. Non-compliance with established Rules and Regulations may result in loss of park privileges and/or trespass from CPA property. All fines and penalties imposed shall be recoverable in the name of CPA. Guests and other users of Jetty Park (vendors, concessionaires, etc.) shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances. Failure to comply with applicable federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances shall constitute a violation of these rules and regulations. 1. GENERAL 1.1 Jetty Park is not a residency park and is for recreational use only. The Campground has 95 improved sites (Water, Electric, & Sewer): 62 sites with 50 amp and 33 sites with 30 amp; 32 semi-rustic sites (Water & 30 amp), and 23 Rustic sites (Water only) for RV camping. In addition to RV camping, there are 6 semi-rustic tent and 35 rustic tent sites, 15 of which are for group camping. 1.2 Campers, tents, vehicles, minors, and pets shall not be left unattended. 1.3 Campers and registered guests will be responsible for damages to all sites and equipment. No furniture or equipment shall be moved from one site to another. 1.4 The operation of aircraft from land or water or the air delivery of any person or thing by parachute, helicopter, hot air balloon, or other means, without the written permission of the CEO or designee, is prohibited. 1.5 No person shall enter or remain within the confines of Jetty Park or the property surrounding same while in a visible or obvious intoxicated or drugged condition. 1.6 The discharging of fireworks, firearms, BB guns, paintball guns, bow and arrows, sling shots, or any devices that use burning powder, explosives, compressed gases, etc., is prohibited. Federal, state and local statutes govern the legality of carrying or discharging firearms or any deadly weapons near a recreation area. 1.7 CPA is not responsible for any property or article lost, stolen, or damaged within Jetty Park Beach and Jetty Park Campground. 1.8 CPA is not responsible for any accidents or injuries to any persons while on Jetty Park property. 2. ANNUAL / SEASONAL / DAY PASSES 2.1 Annual Passes will be sold at the entrance booth into Jetty Park and are available for Brevard County Residents only. The Annual Pass allows the guest to enter Jetty Park without paying any parking fees for the period of (1) year from date of purchase. Cost of an Annual Pass is $ RV Annual Passes will be sold at the entrance booth into Jetty Park and are available for Brevard County Residents only. Cost for a RV Annual Pass is $ Annual pass applicants must provide a valid Florida Driver's License or Florida Identification Card, vehicle registered in Brevard County, Brevard County property/tax deed, or utility bill for a Brevard County address is required for proof of residency. 2.4 Seasonal Passes will be sold at the entrance booth into Jetty Park and are available for three (3) consecutive months for people residing in Brevard County for 60+ days, which do not meet the criteria above, during the months from November to April. 4 Proof of temporary stay is required via lease agreement, tenant agreement, etc. Cost of a Seasonal Annual Pass is $75.00 and is valid 3 months from date of purchase. 2.5 The Annual/Seasonal Pass must be affixed to inside bottom left of vehicle windshield at time of purchase and any old Annual/Seasonal Passes must be removed. Motorcycle Annual Pass must be affixed to either the windshield of the motorcycle or front left fork facing outwards. 2.6 The Annual/Seasonal Pass must be affixed with original sticker adhesive. Passes that are laminated, taped, not affixed, and/or are held on by any other adhesive will not be accepted as a valid form of entry and must be removed and/or exchanged for a replacement pass. 2.7 Replacements for Annual, RV Annual, Seasonal, and Day Passes may be exchanged for a current Annual Pass with ID and proof of residency at no charge. The replacement pass will reflect the expiration date shown on the pass being exchanged. Replacement pass must be applied to the vehicle at time of exchange. 2.8 The Annual/Seasonal Pass cannot be shared between multiple vehicles. 2.9 The Annual, RV Annual, Seasonal, and Day pass only allows access into Jetty Park day use areas and not the campground. Pass holders who are in the campground and are not camping, or a registered guest, will be towed at the owner s expense Having an Annual, RV Annual, or Seasonal Pass does not guarantee entrance into Jetty Park when the park is closed or at capacity Commercial vehicles are required to pay an entrance fee according to vehicle type each time they enter the day use area of Jetty Park with more passengers, i.e. taxi, bus, etc. Shuttling of passengers into and out of Jetty Park is prohibited. Re-entry is not guaranteed. Commercial vehicles are not eligible for any Annual Passes. BATHHOUSES 3.1 Jetty Park Campground has two (2) bathhouses located on east and west sides of the campground which contain toilets, sinks and showers. Users are expected to clean up after themselves to help maintain the facilities for all. 3.2 The bathhouses are for use by registered campground guests only. 3.3 To avoid accidents and injuries, an adult should accompany children under the age of six (6) years old to the bathhouse. 3.4 No person shall wash clothing, cooking utensils, dishes or pets in the bathhouse. 5 4. BEHAVIOR / PERSONAL CONDUCT 4.1 Disorderly conduct is prohibited. No person shall indulge in riotous, boisterous, threatening or indecent conduct or abusive, threatening, profane or indecent language. 4.2 No person shall commit a nuisance nor do any act amounting to a breach of the peace. Any person committing obscene or disorderly acts or otherwise creating a nuisance may be removed from the park by the Jetty Park management or designee. 4.3 No person shall operate or use radios, streaming or playback devices, or other sound producing equipment in any area of Jetty Park, which is audible beyond the immediate vicinity that may disturb any other persons. 4.4 Jetty Park management or designee may, at their discretion, remove or limit the stay of persons or vehicles causing any disturbance or in any way creating a nuisance. 4.5 No person shall disobey a lawful order of Jetty Park management or designee. 5. CABINS 5.1 Reservations will not be accepted under same name for more than one (1) cabin on the same day. 5.2 A cabin is limited to the registered number of guests per unit not to exceed occupancy of four (4) persons. Campers will pay $5.00 per vehicle, for their guest to be registered and entry into Jetty Park and Campground. A maximum of two (2) vehicles per cabin. 5.3 Smoking, cooking, and use of candles is prohibited in the cabin. 5.4 Tent camping is prohibited on cabin site. 5.5 Pets or other animals are prohibited within the cabins, except approved service animals. 5.6 A cleaning fee will be charged, if required. 6. CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS / TRANSFERS 6.1 A refund may be issued if: Jetty Park and Campground was not able to provide the service for which fees were paid in advance due to natural hazards or a declared State of Emergency that affect Jetty Park and Campground There is a cancellation with at least 7 days advance notice for reservations under 30 days. Reservations that are 30 days or longer require a 90-day advance notice of cancellation. There will be a cancellation fee for each campsite or lodging unit reserved. 6.2 A transaction fee of $20 will be assessed for each refund granted. 6.3 The following fees will be charged for cancellation of reservations: RV/TENT CABINS PAVILIONS 1-13 days $ days $25 Small $ days $ days $75 Large $ days $ days $ No refunds will be granted if: The camper/guest does not show up for their respective reservations The camper/guest shortens their stay except for reasons listed in Section The camper/guest forfeits their reservation. 6 6.5 Transfers: Transfers for reservations less than 30 days require a 7 day advance notice. Reservations that are 30 days or longer require 90 days advance notice Transfers between RV sites will be allowed within the campground based on site availability Cabin reservations can be transferred to another cabin based on cabin availability If the transfer results in an upgrade of fees, additional fees will be charged. Transfers that result in a downgrade will be refunded the remaining balance There will be no switching or transferring of days to extend the period for a refund All transfers are subject to a $20 transaction fee. 7. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT 7.1 Check-in and check-out times are as follows: CHECK-IN CHECK-OUT RV / Tent 2:00 P.M. 12:00 P.M. Cabin 3:00 P.M. 11:00 A.M. 7.2 Failure to vacate a site may result in vehicle(s) and property being removed at owner s expense. 8. DUMP STATION 8.1 A dump station is located at the northeast side of the Camp Store. The dump station shall only be used for servicing gray and black water holding tanks. 8.2 The dump fee is $5.00 per RV and $15.00 per bus. 8.3 Report spills immediately. Visitors are responsible for any sanitation spills. 8.4 Waste water (gray or black) must be placed in the dump station. 8.5 Discharge of gray water or sewage on the ground or campsite is prohibited. 8.6 Storage of gray water or sewage in containers not manufactured specifically for this purpose is prohibited. 8.7 Violations are subject to criminal charges, fines, and/or the cost of the cleanup. 9. CAMPING FEES 9.1 Deposits / Processing Fees Deposits are due at time of reservations for RV, Tent Camping and Cabin/Pavilion Rentals as outlined below. Processing fees are due at time of reservation. 7 9.2 Please refer to table below for rates/fees. Rates are subject to change without notice. FIRES 10.1 No person shall kindle, build, maintain or use a fire other than in the places provided or designated for such purposes. In seasons of unusual dryness or excessive fire danger, fires may be prohibited anywhere within the park property by the Jetty Park management Wood and/or artificial log fires are permitted in the campground and can only occur in the approved fire pits near the pavilions and the east and west campgrounds A fire pit is permitted on your RV site, it must be six (6) inches off the ground and be covered All fires must be fully extinguished when campers retire for the night or leave the site Fires are prohibited on the beach Charcoal and gas grills are permitted. Only charcoal can be used in the grills provided at the campsite or in the park. 11. FISHING 11.1 Except in water areas designated for other usage, fishing is permitted in Jetty Park waters with the appropriate license and permits. Beach or shore fishing is prohibited in Jetty Park Only rod and reel or pole fishing is permitted in Jetty Park. All other gear (i.e., trotlines, set lines, jug fishing, commercial gear, etc.) is prohibited Night fishing (from 30 minutes before sunset to 30 minutes after sunrise) will be permitted, from the fishing pier only, in compliance with State and Coast Guard regulations The fishing pier is equipped with running water and fish cleaning stations. A license is not required to fish off the pier Fishing from the channel shoreline requires a license. For a free Florida Saltwater Shoreline License, please go to Florida Fish and Wildlife website at for details on how to obtain a license. Jetty Park staff does not have the ability to write fishing licenses All persons must abide by all state and federal laws as well as all rules and regulations governing fishing established by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. 12. GOLF CARTS / EPAMDS 12.1 Golf carts may be used within Jetty Park property roads only and may not exceed the posted speed limit. Golf cart use on sidewalk, through pedestrian gates, and on the beach is prohibited. REG REC-3, Rev. 0 eff. 03/01/2019 Page 7 of 13

8 12.2 Electric Personal Assistance Mobility Devices (EPAMDs) may not be operated at a speed greater than 7 mph on any path, sidewalk, or trail and 5 mph on any campground road. EPAMDs are prohibited on main park roads Operators of golf carts and EPAMDs must adhere to all applicable Florida state laws. Operators of golf carts must possess a valid driver s license. Only persons with disabilities (of any age) may operate EPAMDs Golf carts and EPAMDs must be equipped with functional headlights and taillights to be operated at night Golf cart/epamd occupancy may not exceed limits set by the manufacturer Operator and passengers must remain seated while vehicle is in motion Sitting in the lap of an EPAMD operator or passenger is prohibited Segway s are prohibited on Jetty Park property Horn or other audible signal must be used when approaching pedestrians from behind. The use of motorized play vehicles and any other motorized vehicle that is not a golf cart or EPAMD is prohibited. 13. GROUP CAMPING 13.1 There are 15 designated sites in the group camping area. Maximum capacity per site with campers and guests is six (6) people with a minimum ratio of one (1) chaperone or leader to five (5) minors A 50% deposit is required at the time a reservation is made based on the total number of nights and tents. If total number of nights is increased, the reserving party must contact the park Group camping will not be available November 15th April 15th If a group chooses to reside in the primary camping area, they are subject to the same rates and restrictions of any other camper including occupancy restrictions Group camping guest visitors must pay $5.00 per vehicle for entrance into Jetty Park and Campground. This must be requested by the leader of the group at the Camp Store and will be based on parking availability. Parking passes are non-transferable and must be purchased on the day of use. Exception may be granted by Jetty Park management or designee. 14. JETTY PARK CAMP STORE 14.1 The Camp Store Summer and Winter hours of operation are as follows: Summer: May 16 Nov 14 Open 7:30 a.m. Closed 8:00 p.m. Winter: Nov 15 May 15 Open 7:30 a.m. Closed 6:00 p.m Minor children must not be left unattended in the Jetty Park Camp Store. 15. JETTY PARK PROPERTY 15.1 Campers/Guests using the facilities at Jetty Park and Campground shall be responsible for any loss or damage caused by the camper/guest to such facilities. CPA reserves the right to pursue any legal means, whether civil and/or criminal, to recover its losses or damages No person shall in any manner destroy or disfigure any part of the property or other structure within the park or beach, including lifeguard tower and chairs. 9 constitute the Jetty and state protected sand dunes are off limits. Violators may be asked to leave Jetty Park and Campground property No person shall bathe or wash animals; wash vehicles or clothing, throw, cast, lay or discard into or leave any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, in ocean, retention ponds, or waters within or adjacent to park property which would pollute such waters Swimming pools or water slides of any kind are prohibited No person shall smoke in any structure on park property. Smoking may be prohibited within the park property by the Jetty Park management For the safety of campers and guests, cluttering a rented area is prohibited. This will be determined at the sole discretion of the Jetty Park management or designee The use of appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc. outside of the camper or tent; or parking trailers or extra vehicles is prohibited Outside structures such as equipment, appliances, tarps, clotheslines, hammocks, portable toilets and hanging of anything from trees is prohibited Except on fields and areas provided for the purpose, no person shall play organized sports or any games involving thrown or otherwise propelled objects such as balls, stones, arrows, javelins, and model airplanes Flying of drones or other mechanical flying is prohibited within any of Jetty Park areas Portable generators are prohibited in all Jetty Park areas Metal detectors are prohibited including on the 1200 of beach front No person shall dive or jump off of the fishing pier as well as swim or float in the inlet or channel. 16. LAUNDRY FACILITIES 16.1 Laundry facilities are located at each bathhouse within the campground. Tokens are available at the Camp Store during regular operating hours The use of the washers and dryers are limited to personal clothing and linen items only. 17. LENGTH OF STAY 17.1 The duration of stay is based on a rolling calendar year. The maximum length of stay per camping unit/site are as follows: RV TENT CABINS PAVILIONS days 1-14 days 1-14 days 1 day 17.2 The tent/cabin camper must leave for 14 days before returning to campground Changing names to stay in the park longer for any camping is prohibited Weekends: Minimum length of stay is 2 nights, a weekend is a Friday and Saturday night stay, excluding holidays. There is no minimum stay during the week Holidays: Minimum length of stay is 3 nights. Holidays are defined as New Year s Day, President s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. 18. OCCUPANCY LIMITATIONS 18.1 Maximum capacity per RV/Tent site is six (6) people. Any more than six (6) people will be required to move and rent additional site(s). 10 18.2 Maximum capacity per Cabin site is four (4) people. 19. PARK CLOSURE 19.1 The Jetty Park management or designee is authorized to close Jetty Park and Campground, or portions thereof, on a seasonal basis or at any reasonable time for the maintenance of peace, good order, or protection and safety of persons or property It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized person to be in Jetty Park when it is closed to the public by order of Jetty Park management or designee. Upon closing, all unauthorized persons and their belongings shall be removed from the park, or closed portion thereof. 20. PAVILIONS / SHELTERS 20.1 Reservations for pavilions can be made up to 12 months in advance of the current date. Full payment is required at the time reservation is made In addition to the rental fee for pavilions, an entry fee will also be charged for each vehicle. Please refer to table below for pavilion rental fees. LARGE PAVILION SMALL PAVILION $75 $ PETS 21.1 Dogs or cats are allowed in designated areas only of the campground area, excluding RV inlet and shall be restrained on a leash, not more than six feet long All other pets are prohibited in Jetty Park, beach, and playground Guests, registered or unregistered, of campers are prohibited to bring pets into the campground or Jetty Park Maximum number of pets on an RV campsite, excluding the RV Inlet, is two (2) pets Campers are responsible for their pets at all times Pets shall not be left unattended. All pets must be kept under control, quiet, cleaned up after, kept inside at night and not tied up to trees Owners are responsible for cleaning up all waste deposited by pets Campers must bring current rabies vaccination and present upon check-in. 22. QUIET HOURS :00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. will be considered quiet hours. On-board RV Generators must be shut off during quiet hours. 23. RESERVATIONS 23.1 Advanced reservations may be made up to 12 months in advance online at or by phone between 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. at (321) Peak season is November 15 through April Upon check-in, the guest will be required to provide a credit card and driver s license for reservation purposes. 11 23.3 Campsites, Cabins, and Pavilions will not be rented to any person under 18 years of age A deposit will be required at the time reservation is made Processing fees are $5.00 and non-refundable Reservations will not be held after 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the morning after the scheduled arrival date, and the site may be released to other campers, unless the park is notified and acceptable arrangements for late arrival have been made. Both reservation and fees are forfeited if camper does not show or notify the park The reservation holder must be present for the duration of the stay. Persons eligible for discounts may not make a reservation for persons who are not eligible. Proof of eligibility will be required upon check-in. 24. RV S 24.1 Maximum of two (2) vehicles per site, based on parking availability RV campsite rental includes, but is not limited to, access to fishing pier, beach, and Jetty Park. These activities are limited to the registered number of guests per campsite not to exceed six (6) people Site locations are not guaranteed and subject to change No RV campsite can be retained without a camping unit (camper with RVIA sticker) placed on the site No more than one camping unit will be allowed on a camp pad. One additional unit (tent only) may be allowed at an additional charge Campers leaving for a day trip in an RV that is their only source of transportation should check with Jetty Park for methods of holding their site Arrangements must be made at Camp Store upon arrival for storage of trailers, boats, and/or additional vehicles. 25. RV / CAR WASHING 25.1 The washing of vehicles or campers, routine maintenance tasks, or major repairs to campers, boats, or vehicles is prohibited within Jetty Park and Campground. In case of an emergency, Jetty Park management or designee should be contacted for instructions. 26. SOLICITATION 26.1 No person shall solicit within Jetty Park No person shall sell or offer for sale any merchandise, articles, or other items, whatsoever, without written consent from the No person shall circulate, post, place or erect any bills, notices, papers, advertising or matter of any kind without written consent from the CEO or designee. 27. TENTS 27.1 No tent campsite can be retained without either a tent erected on the ground or a tent in conjunction with a vehicle that has been designed by the manufacturer for such REG REC-3, Rev. 0 eff. 03/01/2019 Page 11 of 13

12 purpose. Vehicles, boats and other items will be removed or towed away, as necessary, at the owner s expense. A tent not fully erected is subject to removal Tent camping shall be confined to the designated tent campsites. No tent camping or camping units are permitted in the cabin areas or day-use areas. Sites are defined from site post to site post No more than six (6) people can occupy a campsite at any one time, visitors and guests included CPA is not liable for property or camping units left unattended. If left unattended for more than 24 hours, Jetty Park has the right to remove any property at the owner s expense. 28. TRASH / REFUSE 28.1 All trash must be taken to the dumpsters located on site (see park map for locations). There is no curbside trash pick-up No person shall throw, dump, or leave papers, cans, bottles, or other garbage anywhere in the waters, along the roads, in picnic area, pavilions, and camping sites, beaches, or any other lands or water of the park except in the designated trash receptacles Glass of any kind is prohibited on Jetty Park beach A cleaning fee may be charged, if trash is left on campsite(s). 29. VEHICLE OPERATION 29.1 Any operator of any vehicle motorized or otherwise must comply with all applicable Florida laws. All visitors must obey posted vehicle speed limits Vehicles are prohibited in cabin or camping areas unless the operator thereof is a registered guest or visitor. The number and type of vehicles allowed in overnight stay areas will be restricted based on available parking as determined by Jetty Park management or designee Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the beach Vehicles that are not in compliance with rules listed above may be asked to leave Jetty Park and Campground or be towed at the owner s expense Bicycles are allowed on Jetty Park and Beach. All bicycles shall be restricted from use after dark unless equipped with functioning headlights, taillights, and reflectors. Jetty Park Campground is not a thoroughfare for day guests and bicycles are prohibited in the campground unless they are registered campers or guests Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, etc. are prohibited on the fishing pier and boardwalk Cyclists shall not block roadways or paths when traveling around the park. Rules of the road still apply, and cyclists are required to stop at all stop signs. 30. VISITORS / GUESTS 30.1 All guests and visitors are subject to entrance fee requirements. No exemptions are permitted Campgrounds and camp areas are restricted to registered campers and guests only. Guests shall leave the campground prior to 10:00 P.M Campers will pay $5.00 per vehicle for their guest to be registered and gain entry into Jetty Park and Campground. This must be requested by the registered camper at the REG REC-3, Rev. 0 eff. 03/01/2019 Page 12 of 13

13 Camp Store, must be purchased on the day of use and will be based on parking availability. Parking passes are non-transferable from one guest to another. 31. WEATHER 31.1 Florida is prone to inclement and severe weather, especially during the summer months.
