5 Introduction 1 Ultima provides a flexible kitchen option designed to facilitate less able and elderly residents so that they can live independently. With a wide choice of colour options, door handles and kitchen accessories this stylish and well-designed product is practical whilst making a personal statement. Adjustable items such as, pull down baskets, trolley units and rise and fall units, provide greater 2 3 access and make working in the kitchen easier. The Ultima distinct hanging rail system allows the carcase to be positioned at the appropriate height for the resident and altered upon 4 the change of residency. The reduced depth of 485mm provides greater access to all areas of the unit. 5 Combining Ultima with Rixonway s standard carcase options allows people with mixed abilities to live side by side. The rise and fall units allow for the height to be adjusted manually or electrically, enabling the less able user to enjoy cooking and 6 working in the kitchen, using all the worktops and appliances alongside an able bodied person. The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) have appraised Rixonway Kitchens frontals, worktops and handles for effective colour contrast which is an established way in which the ability to detect different surfaces can be achieved. The RNIB believes that simple design features, such as this make it easier and safer to move about the kitchen helping people live independently for as long as possible. The range also received a Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) gold certificate covering BS6222 part 2 Level H 2009 & BS EN14749 as well as ergonomic evaluation.

7 Trieste The Trieste range is a durable and adaptable choice, with no less than seven available finishes: Maple, Beech, Walnut, Elements, White Willow, Frost White or Rosewood. Choose Maple, Frost White or White Willow for a clean and minimalist look; Beech or Walnut for something with a little more woody warmth; and Rosewood for a hearty red. Elements, meanwhile, offers a rugged grained finish. Trieste is the choice for a modern-looking kitchen.
