1 Notice of Workshop to Solicit Comments on Proposed Regulation The Department of Motor Vehicles, Management Services and Programs Division, 555 Wright Way, Carson City, NV 89711, (775) , is proposing regulations as required by NRS A public workshop has been scheduled for the following date and time: PUBLIC WORKSHOP Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm The workshop will begin at 10 A.M. If there is no one in attendance by 10:30 A.M., the workshop will be officially closed. Washington Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada Elko Great Basin College 1500 College Pkwy, Room TBA Elko, Nevada The purpose of the workshop is to solicit comments from interested persons on the following general topics that will be addressed in the proposed regulations. AGENDA Note: Items on the agenda may be taken in a different order than listed. Two or more agenda items may be combined for consideration. An item may be removed from this agenda or discussion relating to an item on this agenda may be delayed at any time A period of public comment will be allowed at the beginning of the agenda and at the end of the agenda. No action will be taken on these items during the public workshop. Because of time considerations, the period for public comment by each speaker may be limited.

2 Page 2 of 5 ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION LCB File No. R Public Comment Senate Bill 452 of the 79 th Session, authorizes a person who is unable to provide information satisfactory to the Department that the person is entitled to a certificate of title or a duplicate or substitute certificate of title for a vehicle to obtain a new certificate of title by: o Filing a bond with the Department in an amount equal to one and one- half times the value of the vehicle, as determined by the Department, o Allowing the Department to inspect the vehicle to verify the vehicle identification number and the identification numbers, if any, for parts used to repair the vehicle; and o Authorizing the Department to conduct a vehicle history search through relevant national crime information systems. NAC Sets the fee amount the Department is authorized to charge for license plates. Public Comment If you cannot attend the workshop, written comments may be submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Written comments must be received by the Department no later than: 2/14/2018 Note: reasonable efforts will be made to assist and accommodate physically disabled persons desiring to attend the meeting.
