May 2012 present Field technician Summit Envirosolutions September 2008-July 2009 John Dickerson is an experienced archaeological field supervisor and field technician, as well as a Secretary of the Interior qualified historian with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks in association with both archaeological and architectural history projects. He has contributed to over 140 archaeological investigations and architectural assessments in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, and Tennessee and has authored or co-authored over 60 technical reports. In addition to conducting archaeological fieldwork and preparing technical reports, Mr. Dickerson s responsibilities include archival research, field documentation of architectural resources, and preparing artifact assemblages for curation. His research interests include African-American urbanization during Reconstruction.
