Gibson 11/02/10 Patricia Heichelbach 70 F hit in the head with a crowbar several times by her boyfriend, Robert Spangler, because she no longer wanted an exclusive relationship. Hamilton 10/18/10 Shirlen Dyson 46 F shot by her estranged husband, Vincent Dyson, while in her car near her home - he then shot himself in his car on highway 465 during rush hour. 2 Hamilton 10/18/10 Vincent Dyson 46 M shot himself in his car as police were about to apprehend him for killing his estranged wife, Shirlen Dyson Harrison 11/08/10 Catherine Lowe 46 F shot by her husband, Larry Ray, during an argument Hendricks 08/26/10 Mary Jane Frisby 44 F strangled by her estranged husband, David, who then shot himself on the roof of a parking garage in downtown Indianapolis Henry 06/16/11 Raymond Poore 69 M stabbed by his son after an argument over the son, Johnny, leaving the floor wet after a shower. Raymond threatened to call police during the argument. Johnny had not been taking his medication for mental illness Jackson 04/21/11 Vicky S Wade 54 F beaten to death with a baseball bat by her husband, Terry Wade, who then tried to kill himself by overdose. Police took him to a hospital, and arrested him when he was released. Jasper 09/15/10 Daniel L O'Janovac Sr 45 M shot in back by his son, Daniel Jr, during (or Ojanovac) an argument in which the younger accused the elder of making sexual advances to his (Jr's) girlfriend Page 2 of 11

3 Johnson 02/22/11 Emmeria Kay Ellis 46 F discovered dead of gunshot wound by police who checked after workers reported she had not shown up for two days - Joseph Simpson was arrested and confessed to the murder Kosciusko 12/11/10 Adam Jarrett 30 M shot himself after killing his girlfriend's mother, Penny Savage. Kosciusko 12/16/10 Penny K Savage 44 F shot by her daughter's boyfriend, Adam Jarrett, in front of her 2-year-old grandson - her daughter and Jarrett were arguing and she was called by Jarrett to come get her daughter Lake 01/16/11 Joseph Burton 28 M run over by his girlfriend's boyfriend, Alfred Vela (she had a relationship with both men) Lake 05/15/11 Rosemary Comanse 47 F shot in the head at close range by her estranged husband, James. He was visiting the home and went upstairs; shortly thereafter others in the house heard a loud boom. James also struck another family member with the gun before it could be taken from him. 4 LaPorte 07/05/10 Thomas King 38 M stabbed in the heart and shoulder by John W Adams - police responded to the house in Michigan City on a report of a domestic dispute - Adams's girlfriend might have been present Madison 01/03/11 Angel Shuai 3days F died from bleeding in the brain caused by her mother, Bei Bei Shuai, ingesting rat poison while she was pregnant. Shuai wanted to kill herself because her boyfriend left her Madison 02/13/11 Megan Rider 25 F shot by her boyfriend, Aaron Wagers, who had just been released from jail of child molesting charges. He then shot himself Madison 02/13/11 Aaron Wagers 36 M shot himself after shooting and killing his girlfriend, Megan Rider Madison 07/31/10 Debra Aynes 51 F killed by her ex-boyfriend, Robert Jones, who walked into the diner she co-owned with a friend and shot her; he then shot himself Madison 07/31/10 Robert S Jones 56 M shot himself with one of the two handguns he brought into the diner where he also shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, Debra Aynes Page 4 of 11

5 Marion 02/03/11 Jerry Fantasia Brown 36 M stabbed to death by his boyfriend, Earl Speller, who rolled him up in carpet and kept him in a closet until he moved him to a dumpster on Feb 14 Marion 02/13/11 Bryan Vizuet 17 M shot and killed by his girlfriend's exboyfriend, Brad Davis Marion 04/18/11 Sparkle Diamond Majors 21 F shot during an argument by her boyfriend, Christopher Woods, in her apartment in front of her 2 small children Marion Lavenna Shorter 42 F shot by her boyfriend, Oscar Hall, because she tried to break up with him. He might have been stalking her; he has a lengthy criminal record and was released from prison earlier this year Marion 06/10/11 Eric Bell 23 M shot by Kendall Johnson after Williams put a gun in the mouth of one of two women inside the apartment - Bell told Williams to leave and went outside with him where he was shot Marion 08/15/10 Richard Jones 32 M drowned in retention pond after setting his townhouse on fire in response to an argument with his girlfriend Marion 08/26/10 Nickina Cornett 26 F died of multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by her boyfriend, Maurice Smith Page 5 of 11

6 Marion 08/26/10 David Frisby 58 M shot himself and fell from the roof of an Indianapolis parking garage after strangling his estranged wife, Mary Jane, in Brownsburg Marion 08/26/10 Maurice Smith 31 M suicide after shooting his girlfriend, Nickina Cornett, multiple times Marion 09/19/10 Juliana Shannon 10 F burned to death in fire set by her mother's ex-boyfriend, Joshwa Carlisle - she is believed to have been alive when set on Marion 09/19/10 Traci Shannon 25 F burned to death in fire set by her exboyfriend, Joshwa Carlisle - she is believed to have been smothered before being set on fire Marion 09/29/10? Latrice Long-Payton 29 F strangled and beaten with a lead pipe by Joseph Coleman during an argument; Coleman wanted her to move out of the house - after he killed her, he put her in the crawlspace; weeks later (Oct 14,15) he placed her body in a garbage can where it was discovered by police Marion 12/02/10 Merissa Kelley 31 F strangled by her ex-husband, Howard Sanders, because she planned to move out of state with their children - he stayed overnight at her house and they got into a fight in the morning Page 6 of 11

7 Marion 12/12/10 Kevin Field 51 M died in head-on crash into a tree after stabbing his wife and leaving her to die Marion 12/12/10 Melissa Field 44 F stabbed to death by her husband during a fight in front of their 3 children (8-15) he then drove away and crashed into a tree Marion 12/13/10 Angela Dodson 32 F shot in the head by her boyfriend, Curt Lowder Marion 12/25/10 Oscar Martinez 26 M stabbed by another man in a fight over a woman - it is believed that Martinez was the aggressor and was stabbed in self defense - the unnamed women later hanged herself in grief Marion 12/25/10 Unknown Unknown Unknown F the unnamed woman who was the apparent reason for the fight that claimed the life of Oscar Martinez Marion 12/28/10 (or 12/29) Rachel Wurster 25 F killed (apparently strangled) by her foster brother, Braxton Vaughn. Marion 12/7/10 Tyniese Quiller 2 F died of multiple blunt force injuries while in the care of her mother, Tiara Peoples and her boyfriend, Terrence Taylor Marion 3/31/11 Dawnita Gibson 35 F stabbed by her live-in boyfriend, Steven Davis. 8 Marion 4/29/11 Zuleika Quintero 35 F her body was found alongside Eagle Creek by a man walking his dog. Police think she was murdered, but no further information is available at this time. Marion 5/1/11 Bobbie J Schaefer 41 F stabbed by her husband, Kenneth Schaefer, who also suffered stab wounds and is in serious condition in a hospital - their 16-yr-old daughter was also stabbed but her injuries are not life threatening. Another daughter was not injured. Monroe 06/07/11 Angela Holder 39 F stabbed multiple times with a butter knife by her ex-boyfriend, Bruce Edward Foster, who then stole her car and drove away. She was found by her 16 yr-old daughter in a pool of blood. Foster turned himself in to police in Indianapolis. Monroe 08/18/10 Vincent Jackson 53 M shot by his girlfriend's mother during an argument Montgomery 09/04/10 Savannah Ross 10 F shot by her mother's live-in boyfriend, Steven Bixler Orange 11/24/11 Billy Joe Bledsoe 38 M shot by Jeremy Gehl, the brother of the father of Bledsoe's wife's son, Herman Gehl II in a continuing argument over custody of the child. Prosecutor in the case determined the shooting to be in selfdefense; the family of Bledsoe deny this. Page 8 of 11

9 Porter 04/24/11 Cynthia Cashner 50 F killed by her estranged husband, Fredrick, who fired at least eight bullets into her body with a high-powered semi-automatic rifle at the herbal shop which she owned Porter 05/31/11 Cheryl Miller 52 F shot by her estranged husband, Frederick, who then set the house on fire and shot himself. Their 19 year-old son escaped the fire. She had filed for divorce and had a protective order - in April, he was removed from the home by police Porter 05/31/11 Frederick Miller 59 M shot himself after killing his estranged wife and setting the house on fire Scott 01/21/11 Jasmine Abbott 14 F shot in the head by her mother, Amanda Bennett Scott 01/21/11 Amanda Bennett 30 F shot herself after shooting her 3 children and setting fire to the house - she and one of the children died of smoke inhalation though all were shot as well. Her husband had moved out of the home about a month ago. Scott 01/21/11 Katelynn Bennett 9 F died of smoke inhalation in a fire set by her mother, Amanda Bennett - she also had a gunshot wound to the head Page 9 of 11

10 Scott 01/21/11 Ryan Bennett 4 M died of gunshot wound to the head inflicted by his mother, Amanda Bennett Scott 08/07/10 Nina Keown 26 F strangled by her ex-husband, Robert Petty, after she refused to tell him whom she had been talking to on the phone - after she died, he drove her to the remote location and went back later to remove and burn her clothing- several days later he went back to bury her but he couldn't find her body St Joseph 01/23/11 Michael Gensinger 33 M stabbed to death by his girlfriend's exhusband, David Lubelski, who thought that even though they had been divorced for several years, she should not be seeing other men. He stabbed her also, but she is recovering in a hospital. St Joseph 06/13/11 Marsha Cocot 38 F died of asphyxiation and blunt force trauma inflicted by her husband, Brian - he caused a gas leak in an attempt to cover up the crime. He then tried to kill himself by overdose but failed St Joseph 3/23/11 Kim Stout 38 F strangled by her live-in boyfriend, Jorge (or Stout-White) Huerta Cardenas, then dumped in rural Cass Co, Michigan. She had told him to pack up and move out shortly before her disappearance. Page 10 of 11
