Whitney was a member of a prominent New Orleans banking family and an accomplished amateur photographer. He was also a musician and an art collector. 2 PROVENANCE Photographs were given by Mrs. Arthur F. Morris to Tulane in 1950 in memory of her sister Emma Walton Glenny.
