As per the information provided, the used electrical and electronic assemblies were exported for repair by the aforesaid applicant and the same are being re-imported after repair. 3. n view of the above, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has no objection for the re-import of used Electrical and Electronic Assemblies (EEAs) by above organizations as detailed above. 4. However, the Customs Authorities are requested to verify the identification established as per provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, while clearing consignments of such assemblies to the aforesaid units so as to ensure that the assemblies being reimported are the same as those which were sent out for repair.
