3 IMPORTANT INFO BOOKINGS / REFUNDS We strongly recommend that you make your flight bookings in advance and at the start of your Queenstown itinerary to ensure you are not disappointed. If we cannot fly due to adverse weather, we can transfer your booking to another day. Alternatively, if you would prefer, we will refund you in full. Agents will be advised if vouchered clients are cancelled due to weather. RECONFIRMATIONS Please advise all clients to call us at least 24 hours prior to departure for a weather check, to reconfirm booking details and to receive confirmation of departure time. This will allow alternative flight arrangements to be made if weather conditions are unfavourable. CANCELLATION POLICY If you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours from the departure time, a full refund will be made. PRICES AND PAYMENTS All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars are retail/gross and include 15% Goods and Service Tax. The rates quoted in this trade manual are valid from 1 October 2015 to 30 September All prices are subject to change without notice. Some public holidays are subject to a surcharge. We welcome New Zealand currency, foreign currency, agent vouchers and all major credit cards. Please note credit cards will incur a surcharge. Fuel surcharges may also apply. CHILDREN S PRICES Children aged 4 11 years are eligible for child rates. Child rates are calculated at 70% of the adult fare. Under 4 years fly free of charge when carried on an adult s lap. 11 years and over are considered adults. MINIMUM & MAXIMUM PASSENGER NUMBERS On all scenic flights, minimum numbers apply unless otherwise stated. Individual bookings may be combined if necessary to achieve minimum numbers. We carry a maximum of 6 passengers per aircraft within Civil Aviation Authority restrictions. For aircraft weight and balance purposes, please advise at the time of booking if any passenger exceeds 83kg (CAA standard weight). 28 HELI FISHING / HELI HUNTING HELI FISHING Experience the best fly fishing in the Southern Hemisphere right on the doorstep of Lake Wakatipu. Land at a pristine stream accessible only by helicopter with an experienced fishing guide and in minutes be casting a dry fly to feisty brown and rainbow trout. We can provide a heli drop-off and pick-up service, or alternatively, the helicopter and pilot can be available for the entire day so that you can sample different fishing locations in one day. Gourmet hamper lunches can also be arranged. The season for fly fishing in New Zealand is October through to April. HELI HUNTING Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters offers a full guiding service to some of New Zealand s premier free range hunting locations in the Fiordland and South Westland regions. Trophy game includes Fallow bucks, European chamois, Himalayan Thar as well as small game. The New Zealand hunting season is year round, but best from April through August, during rutting season. 30 PAYMENTS DIRECT TRANSFERS Payment for client s flights is acceptable in two forms and MUST be made 24 hours prior to departure. Any refunds will be made within 24 hours. We require that if you are paying by direct bank transfer to let us know in advance and make payment 24 hours prior to departure.
