A rumpus occurred in this establishment on Thursday, which caused considerable trouble to the authorities. Some refractory women urged on several others to an act of open mutiny, which was quelled on Friday morning by the introduction into the Factory of a gang of Penitentiary men, who broke down the barricades erected by the women, and forced them to submission. The ringleaders, several in number, were conveyed to gaol, where they have shewn symptoms of sad insubordination.
