9 Festive Dining Policies Advance Reservations Due to high demand for restaurant reservations during the festive season, we encourage you to make reservations prior to your arrival. Please be aware that if no reservations are made in advance, reservation times will be limited. No-Show/Cancellation Policy Our festive dining policy is in effect from Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 to Saturday, Jan. 3, For any reservation that is cancelled within four hours of the reservation time or if the party does not show for the reservation, a $50 per person fee will apply. All reservations will be released after 15 minutes of the reserved time if the party does not arrive. Reservations are designated a two-hour period from the time of the reservation. Guests taking longer may be relocated to the lounge. The following events will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total reservation if cancelled inside 48 hours. In addition, the following events will be subject to 100% of the total reservation as a no-show fee. Hawai i State Law Drinking Age Hawai i state law clearly states that no one under the age of 21 may be served alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine and liquor. If an employee is unable to determine the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage, a legal form of photo identification will be requested. Identification must be presented prior to beverage service. Hawai i State Law Smoking Policy In accordance with Hawai i state law, Four Seasons Resorts Lāna i offers a smokefree hotel stay. Kindly use our designated smoking area at each property. Large Parties Due to space considerations, we will not be able to honor all requests for large tables. Parties larger than eight guests may be seated at separate tables. Please note that all reservations will be released after 15 minutes of the reserved time if the entire confirmed party does not show and a noshow/cancellation fee will apply. For families dining together, please provide the names of all family members to avoid double bookings. 14 Nanny Services Our childcare provider, Nanny Connection, would like to accommodate all of our guests childcare needs. Due to the high number of requests during the festive season, certain holiday policies are in effect. Reserve Nanny Services in advance A credit card number is required to guarantee the service; however, payment is made directly to the nanny in cash. Nanny confirmations are subject to change. Nanny Connections reserves the right to substitute with an alternate nanny in the event of scheduling conflicts, illness or unavailability of the nanny beyond the control of Nanny Connection. Due to the high number of requests during the festive season, certain holiday rates are in effect. The following dates are considered holidays and will be booked at the double rate of $38 per hour for the first child; each additional child is $4 more per hour: Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1. Nanny Cancellation Policy A $57 fee is assessed for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice and for no shows. A $114 fee is assessed for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice for services to be provided on a major holiday (Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1). A $114 fee is assessed for cancellations to confirmed bookings of a nanny for seven days or more, when the cancellation is made with less than five days notice. All cancellations must be received during business hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily (HST). Inclement weather and illness do not constitute a cancellation. Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card.
