1 Newsletter 5 Please ensure all of your team members read this newsletter Welcome It was a great effort last week by everyone who came out to play in the scorching heat! We know how tough it is to leave the airconditioned office, so well done! Many of you also enjoyed the yummy iceblocks and we hope that they cooled you all down or at least gave you a bit of a sugar hit! We have noticed some dodgy grass patches resulting in several odd bocce bounces! The council has been contacted to mow the lawns in all three squares, however due to the extreme weather conditions they were not able to do so last week, hopefully they can get out this week to smooth out the play areas Presentations Just a reminder that the presentations for the Bocce Challenge will be held in week 7, dates for each square are below: Victoria Square Tuesday 1st December Light Square Thursday 3rd December Hindmarsh Square Friday 4th December Put these dates in your diaries asap, there will also be a light Stax lunch provided and awards handed out. There will be no games played on this day however if there is a tie for first place by Silent Round Next week will be a silent round so there will be no points printed in the newsletter for the week 5 results We like to keep it interesting and build a little bit of suspense! week 6 there will be a playoff to decide the winner. This will commence from 12 noon. Can t make it? Remember we play the games each week rain, hail or shine! If you are unable to make it to your game, please call the office on as early as possible.
