Stopping Family and Domestic Violence Funding for Financial Counselling. One Stop Hubs where services come together. WA Labor s Utilities Concession Package Hardship Utility Grant Scheme (HUGS) funding increased. Financial counselling re-introduced into the HUGS process. Department of Communities 6 3

Five primary sources of evidence: Regular monitoring Survey of 486 service users 12 interviews with services in both metro and regional WA 5 interviews with contract managers Survey of 54 financial counsellors and service managers currently employed by funded organisations that provide financial counselling. Outcomes data 83% of clients increased understanding of their financial situation 75% of

maintained connection 74% of clients improved circumstances with third parties 75% of
