You will then discover the exciting world of Airbus up close, in their Hamburg factory. The tour will finish at the world leading LIGNA machine plant and tools exhibition. 3 Cologne Cologne, a city bursting with life, is the fourth-largest city in Germany. Cologne, a 2,000-year-old city spanning the Rhine River in western Germany, is the region s cultural hub. A landmark of High Gothic architecture set amid reconstructed old town, the twin-spired Cologne Cathedral is also known for its gilded medieval reliquary and sweeping river views. The adjacent Museum Ludwig showcases 20th-century art, including many masterpieces by Picasso.

4 VW Tour Manufacturing Facility Interzum LIGNA Interzum provides the furniture industry a voice for the latest innovations and creations. Held biennually in the historic German city of Cologne, this four day show allows designers, interior designers and cabinet makers the opportunity to touch and feel the latest offerings from the world s furniture and cabinet making suppliers. Future-proof technologies, digitisation, integrated manufacturing and automation are the main issues for the woodworking and timber processing industries and therefore for LIGNA too.
