Airport Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival JRO international Airport Meet & Greet. After short briefings, Depart Arusha for Manyara with packed lunch for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park; As you enter the gate you pass into the lush forest, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Further along, the forest opens up into woodlands, grasslands, swamps and beyond, the soda lake itself. The park is also noted for its numerous buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and great variety of smaller animals. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara /tents. DAY 2. Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park. After breakfast depart to Serengeti with packed lunch viewing game en route. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti /tent. DAY 3. A Day at enjoying Serengeti Migrations, A world Natural Wonder. After breakfasts depart for a full day game drive at the park, Serengeti National park is arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Serengeti means endless plains in the Maasai language and within its boundaries are more than three million large mammals, Lunch dinner and overnight at Serengeti lodge/tent. DAY 4. Serengeti Olduvai Gorge/Shifting Sands Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast depart to Ngorongoro with packed lunch via Olduvai Gorge located within the Ngorongoro Conservation are. It was here when Dr Leakey discovered the remains of Homo Habilis or handy man regarded as mankind first step on the ladder of human evolution, but more fossils have been discovered here including those of pre historic elephants, giant horn sheep and enormous ostriches/ Shifting Sandsthe moving sands. Ngorongoro Crater, A world Natural wonder After breakfast departs for 6hrs crater tour with packed lunch, The Ngorongoro Crater, at 2286 m above the sea level, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 sq m that s 100 sq miles and is home to up to larger mammals, almost half of them zebra and wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro lodge/tent. DAY 6. Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park After breakfast depart to Tarangire with packed lunch for a game drive in the park, Dinner and overnight at Tarangire lodge/tent. 3 ITTB/02 Tembo Safari: 9DAYS/8NIGHTS Itinerary Summary: Special to friends of nature, accommodations base on tents 1 night at Manyara, 3 nights Serengeti, 1 night Ngorongoro, 2 nights Tarangire, Olduvai Gorge, Shifting Sands and a day Game drive, three Meals a day, park and crater fees. It s possible to combine it with some culture activities and excursions Masai Boma, Village walk and Ngorongoro Crater Rim walk, Night game drive etc. DAY 1: Kilimanjaro Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrive JRO and depart for Manyara with packed lunch for a game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu tented camp. The camp is perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley overlooking the Lake Manyara national park; it has par anomic views of the Maasai plains and the lake below. DAY 2: Lake Manyara National Park Serengeti National Park. After breakfast departs for Migration camp/kirawira luxury tented camp with packed lunch viewing game en route. Dinner and overnight at the migration camp. This camp is situated in the northern Serengeti, overlooking the Serengeti. Kirawira Luxury tented camp: This camp is situated in the western Serengeti. Victorian and East African décor life in a 19 th Century Safari camp. DAY : Three days enjoying Serengeti Migration, a world natural wonders.

4 After breakfast depart for a full game drive. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Migration camp/ Kirawira luxury tented camp. DAY 6: Serengeti Olduvai/Shifting Sand- Ngorongoro. After breakfast departs for Ngorongoro with packed lunch via Olduvai Gorge, this place is where the first human settlement can be found. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge constructed at crater in stone, the walls and terraces are skillfully set to match the existing contours of the site. The lodge allows guests unhindered views of the wealth of animals and birdlife remaining in the crater below and in tropical forest around the lodge. DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tarangire National Park. After breakfast depart for a 6 hrs crater tour with packed lunch. After lunch ahead to depart to Tarangire tree tops with packed lunch viewing game enroute, Dinner and overnight at Tarangire tree tops tented camp, this camp is situated at Tarangire Conservation area. Serengeti Lake Manyara National Park. This morning we travel from Serengeti national park to the rift valley escarpment and arrive at the lake Manyara lodge in time for lunch, after lunch we travel to the foot of the escarpment for a visit to Lake Manyara national Park. Evening return to the Manyara tented Camp for dinner and overnight DAY 6. Manyara Arusha. After breakfast, we return to Arusha for the end of our safari. 11 Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be Met and picked up by Imagine Tanzania Tourism Bureau driver guide who will transfer you to base hotel in time for an early evening pre-climb briefing on the trek, dinner and overnight stay. DAY 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut Drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate at Marangu for the first section of the climb through the montane forest to Mandara Hut at 9000ft/ 2750m. Taking 3 to 4 hours. Overnight Mandara Hut. DAY 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut. Leaving the forest, you trek along a good path through open grassy moorland to reach Horombo Hut at 12000ft/3700m. (It s possible to combine this Safari, and Selous, Walking and Boat Safari while in Selous, Game drive, Zanzibar or Mafia Beach extension or with Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari ) Day 1:- Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park. Pick up from your hotel and drive with packed lunch to Ruaha. The journey will see you leaving behind Dar es Salaam and the humid, low lying coastal belt. The highway crosses the hills of the coastal hinter land. The road then dips down onto scrub covered plains. Tall termite hills are seen along the road side together with local Masai like tribe selling beaded necklaces and belts. You then pass the Sisal plantations and begin to get glimpses of the beautiful Uluguru Mountains that soar above the plains and the town of Morogoro. The highway then posses through Mikumi National Park and

13 you will get the opportunity to view the game. Beyond Mikumi the road climbs the Kitonga hills which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains. The road then follows the Great Ruaha river and then climbs the Great Rift Escarpment and then past Iringa town and onto Ruaha River. The drive to Ruaha is truly fascinating and gives you a real feel of the African country side. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River or Other s/camp. DAY 2+3:- Days at Ruaha National Park. After Breakfast two full day game drive in Ruaha National Park on full board basis at Ruaha River. Ruaha River is built overlooking the Great Ruaha River and it blends into its natural surroundings to enable visitor to feel themselves part of the wild. The accommodation consists of Bandas built from local stone and thatch and provides the perfect setting in which to relax between bush excursions. The dinning bandas and bars, in elevated positions above the river combine comfort and coolness with unrivaled panoramic views. DAY 4:- Ruaha to Mikumi National Park. After breakfast drive with packed lunch to Mikumi Wildlife Camp; relax at the camp which offers great view of the rolling hills and watering hole to one side and the Mkata flood plains on the other side. 15 After breakfast you can stretch your legs and enjoy the thrills of a safari on foot. After the walking safari return to the lodge for lunch then later in the afternoon enjoy a game drive in Selous Game Reserve. Dinner and Overnight at Rufiji River Camp or Other s/ in Selous. DAY 7:- A day in Selous Game reserves. Morning boat safari at the Rufiji River, this unique safari will allow you to experience the wildlife along river banks and have close up views on crocodile and hippos.
