2 Serene Saadani Sanctuary Saadani River Lodge, built for rest and relaxation, lies on the banks of the Wami River - close to Saadani. This river retreat is situated in a savannah and mangrove forest; offering superb views of the Wami River and the. Guests can enjoy abundant river wildlife, including hippos and crocodiles; in addition to an incredible array of bird life. Page 2 of 6

3 Beautiful Stilted Suites Set in the tree line of the Wami River, this lodge boasts 17 individual stilted suites and a private villa, Wami Suite - ideal for families - with its own pool, lounge area and two bedrooms. With the river as their backdrop, all suites have their own viewing decks and en-suite bathrooms. All of the suites are connected by a stilted walkway with access to the spacious infinity pool. 4 Game Viewing There is a huge amount of wildlife in and around the lodge, which can be spotted while in a 4x4 or in a boat enjoying a river excursion. View hippos, crocodiles and even Colobus monkeys by the river. This area is also a bird watching paradise where guests are able to view birds such as the Brown-necked parrot and Long-crested eagle. 5 Sanctuary Saadani River Lodge, Saadani Location: Located on the shore of the Wami River, close to Saadani Flying time from Dar es Salaam to airstrip (25 minutes); followed by 45 minute road transfer from the airstrip Guest rooms: Set in the trees by the Wami River - 17 individual stilted suites and one private villa, Wami Suite, all with their own viewing decks and en-suite facilities Some suites have ceiling fans, airconditioning and all feature floor to ceiling mosquito netting over the beds Dining: Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are included. Our open air kitchen is positioned at the heart of the lodge Lunch is la carte allowing guests to choose their three course meal An afternoon tea selection of handmade sweet cakes and savoury bites will be offered just before departing for the late afternoon activities Three course plated dinner in the main area, or served outside on the deck under the stars Private sundowners and bush meals on the river can be arranged Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives in our customised open 4 x 4 game viewing vehicles Wami River excursions - journey all the way to the river mouth, into the Indian Ocean A bird watching trip around the lodge s surroundings can be arranged Other activities including private safaris and spa and massage can be booked at an additional cost Page 5 of 6
