1 Meditation on the Nile A Retreat with Leslie Temple-Thurston, Brad Laughlin and Jane Bell February 17- March 2, 2016 Do you feel called to join us in our spiritual work on the Nile? If so, we invite you to meditate and process with us in the profound field of Egypt. Our intention is to offer our spiritual work there to help create a balancing effect on the Nilotic Meridian, which affects the whole of Africa, the Middle East and the world. This is an amazing opportunity to deepen one s own personal journey in the ancient, sacred land of the Pharaohs, as well as to contribute to the global shift that is birthing at this extraordinary moment in human evolution. The Nile will be our birth canal. This trip is first open to those who have traveled to Egypt with us before.

There is no better way to experience Egypt s magic and enchantment than to be lovingly cocooned on this luxurious replica of an ancient sailing vessel with our own staff and private chef to give us an intimate space for deep meditation and processing. Click here for a video tour of the beautiful Afandina The focus of our pilgrimage is different than other trips we have taken to Egypt. While we will stop at the temples along the way, our time will be spent in a slow-paced, individual re-discovery of what called us to Egypt in the first place, relaxing into the ancient quietude and peace of the Mother Nile. We will meditate together and share our insights in group discussion, but most of the time is for your own exploration. Our intention is to provide a deepening into Egypt, a safe and intimate space to explore the temples and sites with our expert guide, Emil, or to remain in meditation on the boat, as your guidance dictates. Limited to 16 participants, this retreat is first open to our beloved ones who have journeyed with us to Egypt before and want a less structured experience. For those who are returning to Egypt, we will immerse ourselves and deepen into the sacred vibration of this ancient land. And for those who are coming to Egypt for the first time, this is an opportunity to explore the temples and sacred sites and to discover the feeling of coming home an experience all who make this pilgrimage share.

3 Included in the retreat on the Nile are three private visits and ceremonies: between the paws of the Sphinx, into the Temple of Isis at Philae, and inside the Great Pyramid. Also included are visits to: Sakarra, Karnak, Dendera, Abydos, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor Temple, the West Bank and Soheil Island. The choice will be up to each individual in the moment if you feel called to visit the temples and sacred sites or remain sequestered on the Afandina. Again, the focus of our pilgrimage is less on touring and more on the opportunity to explore our inner relationship with Egypt and the Nile. Of course you are welcome to extend the trip on either end if you wish, and our beloved Mohamed Nazmy of Quest Travel can help you arrange that. Itinerary Feb 17 Depart on your flight to Cairo Feb 18 Arrive in Cairo and check into Mena House. Opening Circle Feb 19 Private ceremony and meditation between the Paws of the Sphinx Feb 20 Visit the healing temples of Sakarra and the Serapeum. Afternoon flight to Aswan Feb 21 Free time and felucca sail for initiation at Soheil Island. Shopping in Aswan Market Feb 22 Early morning private ceremony and meditation at Isis Temple at Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo Feb 23 Day of floating and meditating on the Nile. Late afternoon visit to Horus Temple at Edfu Feb 24 Meditation and processing as we sail to Esna. Dock overnight at an island in the Nile. Feb 25 Leisurely day of cruising and meditating on the Nile.

4 Feb 26 Sail to Luxor in deep meditation and inner exploration. Late afternoon visit to Karnak Temple Feb 27 Visits to Temple of Hathor at Dendera and Temple of Osiris at Abydos Feb 28 West Bank: Sunrise at Temple of Hatchepsut. Meditate in the Tomb of Ay in the Valley of the Baboons and explore the Valley of the Kings. Evening visit to Luxor Temple Feb 29 Morning flight to Cairo and check into Mena House hotel. Evening private meditation and ceremony inside the Great Pyramid Mar 1 Egyptian museum, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Whirling Dervish dance performance. If we are forced to cancel due to what we reasonably perceive are conditions that would jeopardize the health or safety of our travelers, all money will be refunded or applied to a later journey. Our experience has been that we have never had to cancel for these reasons at any time in our 15-year history.
