The complimentary return road transfers from Victoria Falls International Airport include a safari drive through the Zambezi National Park. This transfer is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. The complimentary return road and boat transfers from the Victoria Falls International Airport takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 25 mins. When possible this is the preferred means of transport. Guests are able to confirm a helicopter transfer from Victoria Falls town after a road transfer from Victoria Falls International Airport. This is an additional cost and would take about 40 minutes. This experience needs to be confirmed prior to arrival. Due to our location within the Zambezi National Park, children are only allowed on guided walks and canoeing activities from 12 years and older. ** Zambezi National Park fee is subject to change without prior notice. Minimum 2 guests required per flight. Local airlines use a variety of aircraft ranging from a Cessna Caravan (12 seats) to a 40-seat aircraft. The flying times are approximate as the service could land at additional airstrips en route, depending on passenger demand. The Maasai Mara horse riding experience is an optional extra safari experience operated by the Ride Kenya - Mara stables. Limited to maximum 8 guests, and dependant on guest s riding experience, these 2 hour outrides are available as a morning or afternoon activity. Nightly Ride Kenya horse riding safari rates include one night accommodation as per the above inclusions / exclusions, where open game drives are replaced by late afternoon or early morning horse safari rides in the Maasai Mara Reserve, Olare Motorogi, Mara North or Naboisho private conservancies. Alternatively guests can opt for one longer full morning ride of 4 hours, enjoying a game drive in the afternoon/early evening. Please note child restrictions and minimum riding experience level apply to Ride Kenya horse safari activities. Minimum age is 8 years. Exclusive of flights, Nairobi air transfers and Maasai cultural visits ($20 paid directly to Maasai), hot air ballooning which should be booked in advance. Pilot/guide and private vehicle rates are nett and non-commssionable. Each guest tent includes one pair of Swarovski HD binoculars and a professional Canon camera body and lens kit for complimentary use. Late check outs are subject to availability and additional cost (including daily conservation fee). Check out time is 10:00am and guests may use public areas until departure. Local airlines offer twice daily scheduled flights between Nairobi s Wilson airport and Maasai Mara s Ol Kiombo airstrip. Schedule and rates available on request. Minimum 2 guests required per flight. Local airlines use a variety of aircraft ranging from a Cessna Caravan (12 seats) to a 40-seat aircraft. The flying times are approximate as the service could land at additional airstrips en route, depending on passenger demand. The Maasai Mara outride horse riding experience is an optional extra safari experience operated by the Ride Kenya - Mara stables. Limited to maximum 8 guests, and dependant on guest s riding experience, these 2 hour outrides are available as a morning or afternoon activity. Nightly Ride Kenya horse riding safari rates include one night accommodation as per the above inclusions / exclusions, where open game drives are replaced by late afternoon or early morning horse safari rides in the Maasai Mara Reserve, Olare Motorogi, Mara North or Naboisho private conservancies. Alternatively guests can opt for one longer full morning ride of 4 hours, enjoying a game drive in the afternoon/early evening. Please note child restrictions and minimum riding experience level apply to Ride Kenya horse safari activities. Minimum age is 8 years. Child rates are applicable for up to two children aged 15 and younger sharing with two adults in the family tent. Should the family tent be unavailable, child rates are applicable for up to one child aged 15 and younger sharing with two adults in a tent. Children 16 and older will pay applicable adult rate and be accommodated in a separate tent.

15 GENERAL RELATED TO ALL RATES IN THIS MANUAL All city services and ground transfers, conservation/park fees, levies, and air transfers are excluded unless otherwise noted. Standard Terms and Conditions apply - a copy of which is available on request. Rates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, currency fluctuations, fuel levies, surcharges, government decree, or items of this nature. Comprehensive medical and travel insurance (including temporary Flying Doctor Membership where relevant in Kenya) is required for all guests travelling to the properties and is a condition of travel and stay. GREAT PLAINS CONSERVATION These general guidelines apply to all of the Great Plains Conservation properties: Families at all our camps will be on shared activities with other guests. The minimum age requirement for walking and canoeing is 12 years in all camps except Selinda Explorers Camp where activities will be adjusted for children 10 years and older. Children 15 and younger must share a room with at least one adult. On the Selinda Adventure Trail, children 10 to 13 years (inclusive) are welcome on departures that have been booked on a private basis. This allows the guide and crew to adjust the daily walking and/or canoeing distances to suit the family s needs. The child rate is based on a child sharing with two adults (except ol Donyo Lodge, Mara Plains and Selinda Camp family rooms where is up to two children sharing with two adults). If this configuration is not possible, then it may be that the child will be charged the applicable adult rate. We evaluate each booking to ensure we deliver the best possible safari experience to all our guests in camp. In some cases, we may need to turn away a family booking in order to do so; we will do everything possible to try and avoid that outcome. Our camps are located in wildlife zones that are not fenced in and there are no child care facilities in our camps. Parents/guardians must be watchful of and responsible for their children at all times. Each of our camps has a unique child policy based on the size, location and structure of the camp.
