Within the department, you may also work ground maintenance, cleaning and complete tasks as necessary. Maintain the safe operation of rides. You may be a cashier, server, cook, table cleaners, dishwasher, prep work. You can expect to safely, efficiently, and accurately perform jobs while also proving excellent service All positions (except cooks & dishwashers) have much contact with the guests. Students must be friendly, hardworking, team player, flexible, positive attitude, motivated, honest, and reliable. Previous hospitality service experience is helpful. Being able to speak English well and communicate effectively with the guests is extremely important in all positions Female students and no couples for housing purposes ENGLISH LEVEL Upper Intermediate - Fluent EMPLOYMENT POSITION INFORMATION WORK DATES Earliest Work Start: Date: May 15 th Latest Work Start: Date: July 1 st Earliest Work End Date: August 30 th Latest Work End: Date: September 30 th HOURLY RATE PAY $ per regular hour. No overtime (seasonal employer) AVERAGE # OF HOURS average hours per week (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance). Should be prepared to work on weekends/holidays PAYCHECK FREQUENCY Paychecks paid bi-weekly MEAL DISCOUNT Some discount on park food while on duty TRANSPORTATION TO The housing is minutes away from Story Land Theme Park WORK UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS Uniform provided depending on position Dress code is very conservative, please see the information on page 3 GROOMING CODE Yes. Facial hair for men should be clean-shaven and hair above collar length. Good personal hygiene is a must, including daily shower and bath and use of deodorant. No visible tattoos or facial piercing during work. Please see the information on page 3 REASONABLE Much depends on the economic conditions in the U.S. during your EXPECTATION employment here. The hours (shifts) you work will vary day by day. If you find a part-time job, please make sure that you prioritize your obligation to your primary employer. All the part-time/second jobs must be vetted by Janus International prior to the student to start working Students are advised to bring USD 750 to use in spending for food, clothes and other basic necessities for the first month of stay in the United States. The money might also be used for hotel accommodation and transportation to the job site (depending on the date of arrival) HOUSING INFORMATION HOUSING ADDRESS Motel at 850 NH Route 16, Glen, NH COST OF HOUSING Rent will be $ per week, per student. It includes 2 meals and all utilities including Wi-Fi HOUSING COLLECTION All employees will have rent directly withdrawn from their paychecks biweekly HOUSING DEPOSIT Yes. Students will pay an upfront housing deposit of $ upon arrival HOUSING DEPOSIT REFUND Yes. The deposit is refundable at the end of the season if the student

AREA DETAILS Students should be prepared to live in the very remote (but beautiful!) White Mountains area of NH Story Land is offering local weekly trips in late June-August and limited in September. We visit local attractions, local natural beauty spots, local entertainment, the ocean, shopping, etc. Within the area, there are a couple of local taxi services, but no local buses, trains, etc. There is a WIFI in rooms recommended personal computers, company computers are limited CITY/PARK FACTS With the Story Land Theme Park, you will experience great working environment, good work hours and meet a lot of people/new friendships. With your house liaison, you will able to visit many places in the area. A lot of extras to working with us incentives, parties, after hour activities. Great area of the country beautiful mountains for hiking, rivers & lakes for swimming and fishing, biking, shopping, restaurants, movies, etc

3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Your job may not be available if you arrive late. When you obtain your travel itinerary, please it to Janus International at and Tiffany Murray ( on job offer). Please note that you are responsible for verifying your university schedule prior to your travel arrangements. You must obtain approval from Janus International and/or your employer of any changes in your Job Start or Job Ending dates prior to your arrival in the U.S. If your employer is unable to accept that change, they have the right to cancel your Job Agreement. After your arrival in the U.S., any unauthorized early departure from your program or from your employer, starting the unvetted job may result in loss of deposit, program cancellation and/or denial of a future visa application All information is current as of today (October 2018), some changes may apply Appearance Expectations for Cast Members Earrings: For females: Conservative earrings no larger than a quarter in size are allowed. No more than 3 earrings per ear. Any other visible body piercings must be removed during working hours. For males: Earrings are not allowed. Any other visible body piercings must be removed during working hours. Rings: No more than 2 conservative rings per hand. Necklaces/Bracelets: Only 1 necklace may be worn & only 1 bracelet per arm. A watch counts as a bracelet. Necklaces and bracelets must not be visible over your clothes and they must be small & conservative. Tattoos: Any tattoos must be concealed. Hair: For Females: Hair must be one natural color, neat, out of your eyes, simply arranged, & well groomed. Please pull it back if in the Food Department. For males: It must be one natural color & neat along with being cut above the eyebrows, above the collar, and above the ears. Fingernails & Polish: For Females: Moderate nail length, only 1 appropriate polish color, and the polish must be well mainted. For males, nails length must be short and no nail polish is allowed. Nametags: Worn horizontal, on your shirt - the opposite side of the logo. Only wear your nametag. Sunglasses: Conservative sunglasses are only allowed when working outside. They cannot be mirrored, neon, or fashion lenses. Shoes & Socks: Low top sneakers, clean & predominately one conservative color. Socks must be white or the color of your shorts/pants. Undergarments: Only solid white undergarments are allowed to be worn underneath your uniform/costume. Costume: belt ~ black or brown, pants/shorts ~ worn as designed; no sagging pants, not dragging on the ground. Shirts ~ not too big/not too small, and must be tucked in with the collar down.

4 TRAVELING TO STORYLAND Traveling to Story Land If flying into New York you will have to take a bus from NY to Boston and then a bus from Boston to New Hampshire/Story Land. If traveling this route you will take one bus (bus line) from NY to Boston and then have to change to a Concord Trailways from Boston to NH. Because of bus schedules you will likely have to stay overnight in Boston, take 9:25 am departure bus in order to arrive at Story Land on the 1:35 pm bus. If flying into Logan Airport/Boston, you can take a bus (Concord Trailways) directly to North Conway, New Hampshire/Story Land. Depending on when you arrive in Boston you will likely have to stay overnight in Boston and take the bus the next morning (9:25/10am) in order to have you arrive to us at 1:35pm. Pick up is available only during the day at 1:35 PM arrival to North Conway, NH. Please arrive only on 1:35 PM North Conway, NH bus. Please call Tiffany/Story Land before leaving Boston so that they know to pick you up that afternoon The Concord Trailwaways bus northbound route from Boston to North Conway: We appreciate students arriving to us Monday Thursday. **** It is very important that you take the morning Boston bus (9:25am/10am) and arrive to us at 1:35pm. There is no one at Story Land to pick you up/help you to your housing at night so DO NOT come in on the evening bus. You will have to take taxi/uber to get to your housing if you arrive any other time then Concord Trailway bus at 1:35 PM.
