Keep in mind: very escape plan has at least 2 ways out of each room. he first way out you should try is the door. use the back of your hand to check the door for heat. f the door is hot, don t go that way! t is not safe. Use your second way out. t could be the window. very escape plan should have a meeting place outside. meeting place is one place (that does not move) where your entire family agrees to meet after leaving from the burning house. nce you get out of a burning house, stay out! on t go back in for anything or anyone! 1. raw your house with a pencil. abel the rooms, doors, and windows so you know what s what! 2. What is burning? 2. Where is the fire? ell the ispatcher the address of the fire. include the building number, street name, and city. 3. What is Your name? 4. Where are you calling from? Give the dispatcher your current address and phone number. stay on the line and wait for instructions. o not hang up until the dispatcher tells you to.
