This document aims to give you all the information that you require for a smooth and comfortable trip to Scandinavia. Please take the time to read this dossier to familiarise yourself with all the aspects of our tour. It includes important information such as flight details, visa requirements and travel insurance. Your included meal guide: B = Breakfast Day 1: UK to Copenhagen Depart London on your scheduled flight to Copenhagen, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of today is at leisure to explore Denmark s capital. Day : Copenhagen B. Your comprehensive morning tour begins at the centre of City Hall Square overseen by the eye-catching statue of Danish statesman, Absalon. During your coach tour, pass the 19th century Tivoli Gardens amusement park before paying a visit to the grand Christiansborg Palace. Later take a stroll through the iconic Nyhavn canal, a bustling hub of moored boats, outdoor cafes and colourful pastel townhouses that line the waterfront. Make a photo stop at the Little Mermaid statue that sits upon a rock beside the Langelinie promenade before arriving at the Amalienborg Palace, home to the Danish royal family. After a late lunch, embark on a fascinating boat tour of Copenhagen s canals. Day 5: Stockholm B. One of Europe s most beautiful cities, Stockholm plays host to broad boulevards, charming park spaces and painted houseboats which reside along the cobbled waterfront. As you stroll through the elegant old town on your morning tour, pass Storkyrkan, the city s oldest building whose extravagant Gothic interior sets the stage for Sweden s royal weddings. Your tour concludes within the City Hall renowned for its grand ceremonial chambers and exquisite pieces of art. Day 6: Stockholm to Oslo B. This morning, catch your flight for the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is for you to enjoy at your own pace. Day 7: Oslo B. After breakfast, enjoy splendid views from the Opera House across the fjord. Later continue to Bygdoy Island for a tour of the Viking Ship Museum, which displays two of the world s best-preserved Viking vessels. Your tour concludes within the city centre where the remainder of today will be at leisure. Day 8: Oslo to UK or Extension B. In the morning, transfer to the airport in Oslo for your return flight back to the UK, or continue to your extension. Day 3: Copenhagen B. Today is at leisure for you to further explore this colourful city, or you can choose an optional excursion where you will enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque North Zealand countryside for a visit to the moated Frederiksborg Castle, a splendid Renaissance capsule of lavish tapestries, gilded ceilings and an opulent chapel used for royal weddings. Day 4: Copenhagen to Stockholm B. Scandinavia has a world renowned talent for design and their trains are no exception to this. Glide along in comfort as you gaze out of your window at serene fjords, grand snow-capped mountains and verdant landscapes. On arrival into the Swedish capital of Stockholm, you will be transferred to your hotel. 1

Further advice should be sought from the applicable tourist authority for other nationalities and for general queries. We strongly advise you check your destinations Tourist Board or Embassy for the most up-to-date guidelines regarding passport validity. This is an escorted tour, meaning the you will have the services of an English speaking guide during each excursion ensuring that you have first-hand knowledge at all times. Tipping Tipping is customary, we would recommend approximately 8 EUR ( 7) per person per day. Tips are accepted in the local currency, however it is asked that if you do not tip in the local currency that you only pay with notes, as coins cannot be exchanged. Electricity Supply The electricity supply is 0V-40V. You will need a two pin round plug adapter in Scandinavia. Health and Vaccinations It is your responsibility to check any health and vaccination requirements applicable to your booked arrangements. We can only provide general information about this. Health and hygiene facilities and disease risks vary from country to country. You should take health advice about your own needs as early as possible and in good time before your departure. Sources of information include; your General Practitioner or a specialist clinic. Physical Accessibility This tour is accessible to most people with an average level of fitness and normal mobility. It involves moderate days of walking on uneven paths and small hills, and getting on and off coaches and boats. This tour is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Insurance We strongly recommend that you and all members of your party are suitably insured as soon as you book your holiday. It is a condition of booking that you must have suitable travel insurance. It is important that you purchase travel insurance that suitably covers your participation in whatever activities you may undertake at the time that you make your booking. Group Size The minimum number of passengers on your tour will be 0 and the maximum number of passengers will be 35. If in the unlikely event your tour does not reach the minimum passenger numbers then you may be asked to change to a different date. A full refund will be made available to you should this alternative not be suitable. (Minimum and Maximum passengers numbers are subject to change). Itinerary Changes The order of events and sightseeing may vary according to local conditions or for operational purposes. For this reason, we have indicated approximate times only. Your local guide will inform you of any schedule changes as they are informed of them. Some road construction and/or weather conditions may lengthen the driving times or sailing conditions. Our intention is to adhere to the day-to-day itinerary as printed; however order of events and sightseeing may vary according to the local conditions. Currency Exchange The currency throughout Scandinavia is the Kroner and is a valid currency in each destination you visit. We recommend that you exchange you currency before you leave the UK, however cash machines are available in all the major cities to withdraw money in the local currency.

3 Personal Expenses You will need to take some extra money with you to cover any meals where these are not mentioned on your itinerary and personal purchases, such as souvenirs, drinks and snacks. Approximately per person should be sufficient for the duration of your tour. Please also bear in mind that there will be several shopping opportunities throughout your tour. Credit Card Information As normal practice you may be asked for your credit card details on check-in at the hotel in order to cover any extras incurred during your stay. If you do not have a credit card you may be asked for a cash deposit. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted in hotels. Baggage Allowance Each passenger is entitled to 0KG of hold luggage plus 1 item of hand luggage not exceeding in size and 1 personal item such as a handbag, briefcase or laptop case. Weight restrictions will be finalized on E-ticket receipt. Should you wish to take additional luggage you will need to pay extra at check in. Check-In should be at least 3 hours before departure. Day 9: Bergen B Today has been left at leisure to continue your discovery of this picture-postcard community, visit a museum or embark on an optional excursion of the area. Day 10: Bergen to UK B This morning, you will be transferred to Bergen Airport for your flight back to the UK.
